We wish him well

If I hear " we wish him well" or other repeated typical crap when this band fires someone, I will implode ! Don't they know how big the internet is and how those statements can be pointed out as their routine dribble. They are so shallow and live in the publicity of the 70's.

I know, it sounds kind of Lawrence Welk-ie. It would have been better to say something like...
"We just got the final bills squared away from the big tour and frankly there wasn't enough money left over to pay Jeff, so we divied up what we got between us and decided to show him the door."

Chalk it up to something they 'had to" say. They had to put out some kind of statement, and that was it. Very forced and mechanical with no sincerity or regard whatsoever. Glad I never had to work for them, in any capacity.

I know they had to say something, but the truth just once would be interesting. Whoever does their PR is a bigger idiot than the band that employs them. I have heard these words in so many interviews over the years that it is laughable and broken record # 69.

I like what Jeff said on his myspace page. Posting the "Official" statement, and then going on to say, he'd put his version up soon. Whatever the case, I wish him well.

Jeff doesn't wield the knife, like his bandmates.
