You know the best thing we could do to show the Journey camp that we have had enough is to shut down all conversation about them... this forum is a mess, their "official" site is down.

We should just all go away and ignore them. No message boards, no buzz, no news about ANOTHER "new" lead singer"

NOTHING... just like what we get from them.

I'll post where I feel and flame on the Journey members when I see fit.

sure it's a good idea, but then again, you could just rename the forum, since there's so many peole who'd like to stay in touch with each other in some way all at one place. So how does that part work out?

I like the idea of saying bye bye to the Journey forum name, but not the forum as a whole.

Just from lurking around here, I say you all hold a certain amount of accountability to the band. Since BT went away, tail tucked, whimpering, this has been the main place for the freedom of speech about the ousting. If ya'll weren't here, it might be just what Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dickhead want.

This forum has been all along about Journey taking responsibility and having accountability. Unfortunately, only one person who was ever a brief part of the band, ever took responsibility and answered to accountability, about what the band did or didn't do. Now that he's gone, the bad Karma is piling up once again. I agree that if this place was gone, Frick and Frack would be happier people. Oh hell who am I fooling? Those two haven't been genuinely happy in years.

How could they ever be happy when they treat people the way they do? If I backstabbed people like that, I wouldnt even be able to sleep at nite. Then again they sound like fucking sociopaths anyway.

I think it's more than obvious now that they have no tact, much less any concience(s). In the real world, the way they go about "letting people go", is illegal (in the U.S. anyway). They don't give a rats ass what any of us says about them. They don't care who stops supporting them. Many of us are smart enough to know that, but they don't think we are smart in any way, at all.

I agree, they expect to sit back and cash in on the occasion pop culture comes calling, and as far as any sort of dedicated fan base goes, screw that. It seems the only ones to ever care for the fans have been people like Rolie, the Steves, and Jeff.

I mean, we're fans. Do they not know that because of our support we've afforded them the life they have? If not for us, do you think they'd honestly be able to sit back and blow through singers like... well, blow? No, they couldn't! They would've had to pack it up decades ago and we'd be seeing them on episodes of "Where Are They Now?" talking about how they've been working odd jobs for 20 years to pay the bills.

No, I don't believe they are willing to accept that WE are responsible for how well they have lived in the past or do now. Hell, even if they don't have millions left like Perry most certainly does, they're living better than most all of us here are. I'm under the impression that their talent and not the support BECAUSE OF their talent is the only thing that has them in the spot they are in today. it's like my Brother telling all of our family that he's written soemof the best music ever, but won't release it to the rest of the world, because then people woudl steal his ideas. I believe it's called DILLUSIONAL.

Now, as if in a effort of total self-destruction, they're in a position to where the only redeeming qualities to keep them in any shadow of relevancy are:

1.) Occasional Pop Culture references
2.) Some people's lingering hope of a Perry reunion, of which Christ himself is more likely to sign on for.
3.) Unknowing people who hear Journey's coming to town on the radio and go buy tickets cause they don't know any better.

Those unknowing people are hearing songs on the radio ad's for Journey coming to town, with PERRY'S voice on them. They aren't being told that Perry was (now) 3 singers ago. It's pretty much intentional deception. Par for the course for Journey. It happens with many bands who've replaced their singers since their actual heyday, but same difference.
