Ok, so Jeff is gone...we can't bring him back, BUT..

You put Jeremey in Evolution, fire Frontiers, fire Hugo, then, you have a good band.

Frontiers is not nearly as good a band as Ev, and Hugo is not as good as Jeremey.

Yes, fuck you Hugo, you suck....Frontiers, you guys aren't as good as Ev.....deal with it.

My point is this, why pay Neal and Friga money?

Merge the two Tributes.....

The intro on A sucked. B had the music down much better but (and I am sorry Evolution fans but) Hugo creeps me the fuck right out. The Perry routine has got to go. Sing the songs, if NEED be, but drop the outfit and the mannerisms. It's just creepy. I'll be honest, I didn't finish watching B because I just can't look at it.

I disagree, bro. Frontiers is a better band too, although I won't bag on the Evolution band, because they're not too bad. The only chance is to get someone with the stamina and the ability to do the hits like the fans and the band (apparently) want to hear them. For us die hards, it means a lot that that guy should also be able to contribute some new stuff with the Escape/Frontiers area attitude that we want. If they can do that, then they might go out with something. Let's face it, they don't have that much time left.

Jeff would have brought some fresh music with a good attitude, and I was looking forward to hearing it. Jeff was looking pretty good in my opinion when they ousted him. If Jeremy, or someone equal, can get in this band that wants a shot, they might be able to have a career after Journey retires that they would not others be able. If they are young enough, that is.
I'd like to see Jeremey get a chance to create something with Journey, because I think he has the potential to bring us something great.

Yep. I agree, he seems pretty good too, won't argue you. Jeremey is still better though. I put two options because there has been a lot of talk about Jeremey and Hugo so I wanted to compare them. There is also a tribute band in the Dallas area that has a pretty good singer as well. Oh no! Hugo keeps getting further back in a growing line! I seriously can't understand how anyone thinks Hugo is Journey caliber

The singer for lights, Juan Del Castillo, is the best all around of the tribute singers, in my opinion, but I don't think he sounds as much like Perry as Jeremey does.

I listened to both clips. It was hard to hear Jeremey due to the crowd noise in the clip. I think either guy would be great in Journey as both guys are great singers. Given the two clips available, I'd take B. The reason is simple, no goose bumps while listening to clip A, goose bumps listening to clip B.

Just so you know, with a better clip of Jeremey I'd get goose bumps listening to him too.

Good point, but nevertheless, and despite the powerful influence of the spinning disco ball, I think its dreadful. Hopelessy weak vocalist. He could even last as long as Augeri. Well, thats no problem I guess, since I doubt Journey even has that many years left.
