Okay, I have noticed alot of people talking about how in their mind Perry will never come back. JSS is also not talking. People have speculated that JSS is under a non-disclosure agreement of some sort that is tied to a monetary severance package. This is most definately the reason for JSSs' silence but it also is the reason that Perry will be back with Journey.

Why in world would Journey sign a deal making JSS the permenent lead singer for Journey if they ever planned on dumping him? As a business, this would be a very expensive change to make so early in the contract, not to mention an expensive change had already occured with Augerie earlier. When JSS made his deal you can bet he had attornies looking after his best interest for these types of situations that could come up, in his contract there are clauses that will outline how he would be handled in the situation of a termination.

I would also bet that there is some sort of "Perry" clause that probably states they can end the contract at anytime should Perry want to return. I am fairly certain this was the case with Augeries contract as the band always maintained that Perry had an open invitation at anytime or any stage.

I have also heard alot about the tribute band thing being a possibility, but why on earth again would they go through the legal and pricey expense of early terminating a contract? They would have to have a BIG BIG reason to do this. A HUGE reason just to justify the cost. Think about it! Just like JSS has BIG$$ reasons to keep him quiet.

He discusses it with Friga and management and realize that Jeff is the only tour savvy veteran that could pull something off like this. Couple that with these two things. Firstly, they KNOW it's Jeff's dream to front this band. They use Neal's friendship with Jeff to fuck Jeff. They tell him they'll iron out all of the other deals AFTER the tour is over. Secondly, they knew ALL ALONG that he was immensely popular in Europe and that he was the ONLY guy that could have pulled off 16 shows in 24 days. Folks, he was USED. These motherfuckers used his ass, and moreso his emotions, to get him to sign on the dotted line knowing damn well they would be dumping him after the tour. Classlessly firing JSS has NOTHING to do with any Perry reunion.

I respectively disagree with you. The reason why is that these things don't work like that. Everything surrounds legal contracts, in this case most likely two contracts were used, 1) Contract "A" for outlining the terms of his temporary fill-in status 2) Contract "B" for outlining terms on his permanent status.

I don't believe JSS got "fucked" by anyone, he would have had to sign a contract that outlines the different scenerios which we are witnessing. Scenerios in which none of us with exception to JSS and Journey Management are privaledged. JSS has departed and believe me JSS agreed to the way his termination would go down long before he became a permanent member by way of his contract.

Judging by JSS's silence, I also doubt that his departure has caused him to go running down to the GAP for a job. Now is JSS upset that the termination clause was used, probably, especially since he did not have time to ride the influx of a financial windfall working for the band would most undoubtedly provided if were allowed to continue.

In the meantime, during his severance period, JSS will probably roaming the world on a yacht or racing around the country in a Ferarri like any other rock star would and hopefully for his sake he delayed purchasing a 20 million dollar home, unless of course he already had one previous to this mess.

If they were "using" him, then why even offer him the job in the first place? Once he agreed to step in to fill in for Augeri, then they had him "used" for the tour from that moment forward. Why offer him the lead singer job once they already knew they "used" him. Just for shits and giggles? I think not. There's something going on that NOONE knows, except them.

What is it with you thinking Perry is coming back to save the day? Perry has maintained over the past 10 years that he will not rejoin Journey. Your pipe dream will not come true.

A Perry clause? Sheesh.........

Perry had an open invitation to sing with them if he so desired since the Walk Of Fame in 2005. The invitation wasn't given any earlier than that. And as you can see, Perry has done nothing with the invitation.

Because Frick and Frack don't know what the hell they want anymore. And their big, big reason is that they are now wanting to go back to sounding like those 65 million units they have out there, Journey's legacy. There is no way on this earth that they will sound like that again.

JSS has more class than Frick and Frack, and let me say this.......... when it is time, Jeff will put out a press release. And believe me, it will be said with more class than Journey's.
