Jeff REALLY Knows Even More Now

I don't think Jeff every questioned what he meant to the fans, and he may not like how all the things about his former band mates are being said, this has to be helping him some.
I visit a few different forums, and while none are going at it this heavy because they aren't Journey forums, and well, they aren't this place.. :D , everyone is basically blown away, shocked and pissed.
I am blown away how fast people are turning on these people that they followed and loved for years, and supporting someone who wasn't in the band for very long.
WOW! Is all you can think. A lot of it has to do with who Jeff is period. Everything he is as a man and a artist.
Many want to say the internet is bad for reasons that have been going on this past week. Well, I say it's great because we can learn what's really going on, voice our opinions and show who we are supporting and why, plus it gets the word out there.
I cannot wait to see what Jeff will do next. The cool thing is that even though Journey has soured many of us, we still have Jeff. Imagine if we still didn't like what they did, but didn't care to follow who they did it to!
To me, Jeff seems to be someone who is content with who he is and what he has done, and doesn't need to get his ego stroked, but it still must feel great to be supported even more so now. He has so many more fasn now! Thanks Journey!
We still have Jeff.........

I've actually surprised myself with all of this. I've been a Journey fan for 30 years. After Steve Perry left, I didn't really follow their music because I wasn't a Steve Augeri fan. I came back to their music a couple of years ago and of course, all through the tapegate I was appalled at what "my" band had done. I was pretty much ready to write them off and just listen to the classics and forget about the present. Until Jeff stepped in. Suddenly new life was being breathed into Journey. I liked what I was hearing and seeing. Now mind you, I'm a diehard Perry fan and was very resistant to listening to anyone else sing "his" songs. But Jeff made me change my mind and realize that there was someone out there who could sing those songs that I dearly loved and sing them in a way that I would actually consider paying to see. Well now that's been blown out of the water and I'm finding myself downloading JSS songs and listening to them instead of the many Journey songs that fill my iTunes playlist.

Realisation of the truth can some times hurt. It can also make people change a habit of a lifetime :)
