There are some wild rumors going around and speculation regarding the Journey website redesign.

NONE of whatever is going on involves Steve perry or his possible return to the band.

I guarantee you it is NOT an option and while I know many would LOVE to see this happen, it is NOT the case.

Well then, those still undecided as if they would attened another Journey concert under special circumstances, this should make it a lot easier now.

Ok, cool...so...WHY is this not the case? What's the big frickin mystery? And even if it's not specifically in the works at this moment, what's to stop it from happening at a later point? Once again, this feud is NOT bigger than many others that have been resolved in reunion tours. So what's the catch?

My guess is Perry isn't happy with his voice. He's a perfectionist, after all. I wouldn't really be surprised if he was still holding a grudge, either.

I agree. He knows his hard core fans will be there for him, but it's the casual fans he's afraid of. He doesn't want to go on stage and not sound like what everyone wants him to sound like. He's afraid of bad reviews and tomatoes from the audience. That's what I think anyway.

Why would Perry want to deal with Frick and Frack again? Look what happened at their last encounter. He didn't like it when Neal tried to use him for publicity at the WOF. Neal tried to make the claim that Perry heard him call him out on the radio and thats why he came to the event. Perry denied that. Then Neal waited for the TV cameras to be on and asked Perry to come and perform that night, and to say what the band was doing and what he was doing outside of the band. Schon staged that for the cameras for publicity. Perry knew he wasnt being genuine and was using him.

Although it's a pipedream to see Perry with Journey again- I wouldn't wish these jackoffs on anybody.

Note to Perry:

Stick with Nuno. Great Player. Leave the past in the past. If Cain calls and you see him on your Caller Id, Avoid it. He's got this tape of his wife that he wants you to listen to. If Neal's number shows up, he's just looking for an alibi for his extra curricular activities.

It's a day late and a dollar short. People have been begging them to do this for years. It's too late now. That excuse for a website should have been shit canned years ago.

Perry is the only one with any dignity left. Well, Gregg too. At least their legacy is rock solid.
