My son told me this morning that M&B were doing their "Celebrity Sell-out" piece on their show this morning, which is a lame ass way of them getting personal numbers of celebrities. Any legit phone number where they actually talk to the real celebrity (i.e., CELL) is rewarded with a ticket or two to a Paul McCartney gig here in Los Angeles tomorrow.

Some guy called in and gave them Steve Perry's phone number. M&B called it, and per my son, Steve answered (it sounded like his voice). Steve HUNG UP immediately when they announced it was M&B and his voice was on the air. They went on ad nauseum about the rumors of Steve returning to Journey, blah blah blah. They said that would have been their second question. If you remember during the HWOF, M&B were trying desperately to get Steve's number. Now they have it. Odds that Steve is calling his phone company to change numbers right now....?????

The dickhead got the frickin tickets. I hope McCartney cancels.

Boo M&B. Boo. Invasion of Privacy, wankers!

They should be allowed to sue these shock jocks...

Prank calls are an invasion of privacy and put people through undue stress...

I think they should outlaw it... it's poor entertainment imho...

I remember Perry saying that Mark & Brian had called his private number during the HWOF, and if they did it again that is "very tacky" on these two ( M&B) to invade Perry's privacy, and put him on the air WITHOUT his knowledge first.
M& B have no class for doing that to him, what a low thing to do!

Yeah, and if I remember right Steve was a little annoyed with them for contacting him when Neal was on the show about the WOF.

Steve was spot on with that little song he sang to Brian on his B-Day some 15-20 years ago...

"You know...You should have never been named Brian. You should've been named Dick...Because you are one."

Is this the same guy Perry once sang Happy Birthday to and called him a dick in the lyrics? Or was that a different Brian?

I feel bad for Perry but I don't think those guys will lay off
