I think Journey's next album should be named, "Reasons."

Perhaps they could explain to all of us through song why they make all these stupid, fucked up mistakes?

Glad you enjoyed it...I just can't see it as a viable EP up to "Journey standards". Sounded like shit to me.
Generations...couple of good songs...4 TOPS...but yea...HORRIBLE album as a whole.

Generations...couple of good songs...4 TOPS...but yea...HORRIBLE album as a whole.

Red 13 still had that Journey sound to it, yet there was an apparent change of approach. I was enjoying it. I was hoping that they would continue with where they were going after that. They somehow lost me with the release of Generations. Seems they lost track of where they were going.

It's hard to argue mistakes to a successful band!

Anyway, I understand the animosity however I'm trying to move forward. Isn't that what JSS helped JOURNEY do? SA helped them move forward, too. Ultimately, every change they've ever made has helped them move forward.

This is why I've always liked the idea of a "neutral" concept album - one that has nothing to do with any particular fan base. Something that comes out of nowhere and surprises and entertains everyone. I think a Latin rhythm album would do that but it'll never happen. Maybe my idea of COSMOS with a Big Bang intro. It'll never happen, either.

I'm not sure why so many people think "No more new music." It seems to me to be pure speculation. If it turns out to be true and JOURNEY continues their "Dirty Dozen Tour Under Another Clever Alias" then I'll be truly disappointed.
