So of rings like a oxy moron, or what would have been an ironic statement years ago.
Were you always an angry crazed Journey fan, or did they make you that way over the years.
Would the sort of stuff that is posted here against each other, have been during the Perry years if the internet was around.
It is sort of ironic, with what Journey sings about, that fans of this band, past/present, would post some of the shit that gets posted here.
Is this really who we are, who we are just on forums, or are some of us just insane Journey fans.
Not even so much referring to anger out of what the band has done rescently, but even when everyone seemed ok with the band and Steve A., there was shit flying around here towards each other.
Fun is fun, opinions are opinions, but sometimes it can be mind blowing, that fans of songs from a band who sings of love, hope, promise, good things, etc..would post some of the shit that gets posted here.
Some of the crap that gets posted here would be more fitting if this was like, oh, a Metallica or Guns N Roses board.
Sometimes when I am here I feel have to look twice to see if I am at the Roth Army Forums. They are f'n insane there at times, and this place kicks their ass at times.
Where we this way when Perry was in the band?

I understand what you're saying...I wonder the same thing at times, but, people are who they are, and we don't have control over that.
We can only control our OWN actions.

I don't profess to speak for anyone else here, but there is much internal angst for the way this band has done business.

I have always been insulted on a personal basis how people associate “JOURNEY” as that chick band that did “Open Arms”. It amazes me how little respect the band has gotten from the press over the years, and it was a breath of fresh air to see this website give the ability of so many average folks to air their opinion. While it might get a little testy sometimes, this is the only place I go to get the real deal.


This band sang emotionally charged songs….so here we are!

its because the band "used to" bring folks together from all walks of life , all races, all ages,,ect ect..
that would never be friends otherwise,, the crowd in the 2001 vegas show proves this to some
degree, hippie chicks, party animals, button downs.. , some how we are all making their music
look like a mountain of mashed potatos and are off on a pilgrimage to get into the space craft.. outside
of that there may not be much more in common , therefore lots of arguments..
