Alrighty, it's time to clear the air. To those BT'ers that came here to contribute and be part of this community, welcome. To the ones that are here soley to try and convince us of the error of our ways in backing JSS, GO FUCK YOURSELVES!
I do not need any overblown,overweight, bored, undersexed housewife on here trying to make me believe that this band did us all a favor be shitting on Jeff. If they did anything, they shit on the fans. For any of you that are counting, that's twice in less than 12 months. They've shed more weight than most of you in the same amount of time. JSS was the best thing that had happened to this band in years and they tossed him aside like yesterdays garbage and yet you blindly loyal retards are still lining their pockets like they owned a crispy creme! I will no longer sit idly by and let all of the beefaloes destroy MR for the rest of us. You are not going to turn this into BT junior. As you can see by this post, we are allowed to speak up here unlike BT where only blind hero worship was allowed. Andrew will probably smack me for this and probably even give me a vacation for it but it needed to be said. Just so that everyone knows how a larger majority of the regulars feels about this whole fucked up situation. For christs sake I hope someone over at Journeymusic.com get their head out of Fro and Frigas ass and reopens that site back up soon.

What bugs me is the people who come in simply to say 'get a life' or 'move on' or 'get over it'. What I say to that is that I have a life, I am moving on, and I am over it. But...I can still talk about it. I can still reflect upon what this bunch of assholes has done and continues to do to the fans that have devoted lots of time and money to them. I do realize that these things were said when SA was ousted, but the circumstances were much different then.

I want Journey and their management to know IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that it is NOT okay to do shit like this. Therefore I will continue to express my dissatisfaction with the way they operate as long as I feel it is appropriate, or until Andrew makes me stop.

So, like Chief and many others, I would just say that there is little room here for those that just want to come in and rub salt in some still fresh wounds. Like BT, there IS a 'mob mentality' here, especially when those people we care about are being attacked. That may be JSS, Jeremey, or even fellow posters. So don't come here thinking that you can cause trouble and not get called on the carpet for it.

I know this is a touchy subject for a lot of people, so I will not say much. I think what Chief and Donna have said are very correct. If you are just here to "stir the pot" and not contribute - don't do it. This is a great place to talk about all things Journey and then some... People coming here just to bait people ruin it for everyone. That is all.

As much as I hate to admit it, I joined the BT forums shortly before discovering this board. I signed up so I could post as I have been a fan of Jeff's for a long time. I think I only posted 4 or 5 times on there. Always felt restricted on that board. I'd hate to see this place go to shit the way it has over there. BTW, great post, Colonel Potter!!

journey has always been my favorite.i didn't know what back talk was when i first joined here i just know it was brought up from time to time.i was looking for some news on the band like i do from time to time.all i knew was some guy sounded just like steve perry was fronting the band and his name was steve too.i didn't even know about soto.i'm a big fan of the earlier material so every blue moon i look on the internet to see if they kissed and made up with perry yet.i didn't get to see them the first go round due to being 12 years old when raised on radio came out when they broke up.had i been a tad bit older i might've been able to see them in their heyday.my mother saw them in '83.i begged to go but it was a school night,go figure.i'll be honest in that i'm one of those hoping maybe the dream will happen.

Well I see it's time for our first carpet call out. Gordon, over at BT you spent so much time on Augeri's yam bag that he needed a specialist to tell him it wasn't a growth. (I only wish I could pull the threads over from there as proof but they're closed) Now your starting threads here saying it's Perry or nothing. Make up your mind bro, which one is it? You can't have it both ways. Being new to posting in this particular forum, I thought I'd hold my tongue regarding those who vacation from other forums simply to stir the shit they feel they're missing in their home forum(s). Been there experienced that in many other areas. Usually dies down when they've screamed so loud they've lost their voices. Interesting though to see it develop though. Word of mouth works wonders when one grabs posts from one forum and inserts them into another. Next thing you know, the whole herd is about, trying their best to drown out the competition.

You have the wrong person. i was nearly thrown out by CJ for describing SA as second rate.

I appreciated the fact that the band still existed and i got to see them in concert but i RAVED about how good Jeff was and i also commented on how Augeri was not much of a frontman.
Regardless of this - i never listen to much Journey outside of what they did with Perry. That will never change. If you thought i was in with the wigglers - you sure made a big mistake.
