I thought I'd introduce myself before I popped up in the middle of a thread. I'm Kate. Stumbled across the forums when I was stuck in with a sprained ankle, which happened to be right at the start of the JSS "departure". I've been reading posts to get a feel for the board before I registered. Never posted on BT, so I don't have a hidden identity. A few more personalities maybe.... I'm a long time fan....brief rundown on where I fit. Loved the Perry era and "The Voice" but believe the band deserved to move on when he decided not to continue and wish they had years earlier so there might be more new music out there. I liked Steve A - loved the live shows I saw with him and was sorry to see him go although the last time I saw him live I could tell there were problems with his voice. I only saw JSS with them once but it was a great show and I was hoping to see more. Basically, I've found something to enjoy in every incarnation of the band so far. I doubt if anyone wants the story of my life, so that's it for now. Happy Fourth of July and remember, tying gerbils to bottle rockets is not OFFICIALLY part of NASA's program.

I thought about that - but when I first started reading it almost felt like I'd be walking in off the street into someone else's family dispute! I figured it was better to read awhile and get a better feel for what was going on and who was who. Besides, I've had some of my best times at parties after the crowd started thinning out. Who knows. The saga's been going on for years so I imagine there's more to come.

Well it's about fuckin (1) time. Not that I don' appreciate the friendly welcome, but now I feel like an official MR poster. Let's see, shit (2), damn (3) - don't have time to search for disturbing images as I'm on my way out to a 4th of July cookout but I'll work on it. The mayor's wife...that's a disturbing image. Our mayor is a black lab named Junior.

Hi Kate. I'm with you - I have enjoyed every incarnation of this band. As screwed up as things may seem right now, I'm sure I will find something to enjoy about the next lineup of Journey.
