Andrew,

Just curious, was Journey ever invited to play the Melodic Rock Concert Event?

Well, I would bet they weren't asked AFTER JSS was dumped.

Andrew could really tweak the Journey assholes and invite Tall Stories w/SA to perform. That would be a really nice slap in the face I think.

I doubt they would care or even notice, for that matter.

I'd bet they'd notice but you're probably right about the not caring thing though.

I was gonna suggest that, but I know the band lineup is final.

Some of you need fucking brains.

Was Journey asked to perform? Are you high?

Andrew won't touch this one but I will speak for him.

A- Hell No. After the shit they pulled dumping a singer for performing flawlessly, and a friend of Drews toboot...Nuh huh.

B- Those fuckers would be boo'd off the stage had they shown up.

C- I would hack into this place and burn it to the ground had he invited those pricks. j/k

D- Andrew needs to stay politicallycorrect, but I would blow Red13 if Andrew came out and said he wanted Journey to perform.

RIP Journey.

Dude chill out.... I think what the original poster was wondering was, if Andrew had any plans of having Journey in South Bend BEFORE their June 12th fiasco.
You DO know that Andrew didnt plan this show overnite the night of June 11th , right!?
I guess Andrew only knows the answer to this. Was Journey part of the show lets say March of 2007!?
Of course , Andrew wouldnt dream of inviting bunch of backstabbers to his show NOW.!

That would be a long beer break for me. :( I'd probably have time to walk back to the Residence and get me a beer.

Yeah but I'd bet a weeks pay if Journey was there you'd be standing up screaming, wet in the panties, cheering for the biggest bunch of assholes in the music industry. In case you've not kept up lately here's a recap. Everyone's saviour SP will not be back with them (Andrew put that to bed). SA will not be back with them. JSS will NOT be back with them. I have nothing but the utmost in respect for Jeremey and if he is THE next singer I will support him but it will be from afar. Journey gets no more of my money. They have essentially turned themselves into a tribute band to themselves. That seems a little on the egocentrical side don't you think?

Uh Chief, I think my "wet in the panties" days for Journey are over, but yes, I would be there to support Jeremey. I will be there to support Jeff, and because I do believe in miracles I might even get "wet in the panties" for Perry if he were to miraculously show up, but I don't give a flyin' fuck about Augeri with or without Journey.

RockinDeano is a self important loser.

Why Andrew allows him on this site the way he continues to behave *for years* is beyond me.

It's a black eye on this site.
I took the bait last time and it didn't turn out too good. I'm not taking it this time. This guy can work out his problems on his own.

Tall Stories with Steve A were asked to perform. I talked to guitarist Jack Morer, but sadly the invite was delined. The invitation remains open.

Wow, that's too bad. How awesome would that have been? Soto and Augeri performing at the same event. :)

Was Steve Perry asked as a solo artist? Never hurts to try, especially since it is a one-time event.

Wouldn't it be shocking to all to see JSS bring in NS to play on his set?
Maybe the whole gig, or just do some Soul Sirkus?

Most likely not happening, but it would be one heckuva surprise, no?

It would be more likely to see Steve Perry walk onstage and start belting 'em out.

I can answer that for Andrew so he doesn't have to waste his time. Simply put, his site, his rules. He likes you and you contribute to intellectual discussions you stay. You act like an asshole just for the sake of being an asshole, your history. Again, really his site and he doesn't need a reason to throw anyone out of here. That said, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!
I think Elvis would make an appearance that day, too. LOL!
