Is anyone else annoyed at the use of the term "sistahs"??? Is it just me?
Probably.
Anyone else have a word or phrase that has become a pet peeve?

Yeah, when my daughter says "Oh, that's so gay." She could be referring to the fact that the plastic tore as she was trying to remove it from a slice of cheese.

I hate the following phrases:
"At the end of the day"
"It is what it is"
"I myself..."

I've already told you I hate the wink emoticon

, its very condescending. Or..how about this one "that's fly" =stupid.
and when people constantly say "anyway", "anyway, I'm tired, anyway what are you doing now, blah blah" its a switch gear word and its dumb.

My most annoying phrases right now...
"Refi" and "You end up with a lot more cash" from those stupid Countrywide commercials. Yeah, if I do a "refi", they're going to write a check to ME. Liars!

"Yadda yadaa yadaa" makes me want to take a hot iron and press it onto someone's face. That should be legal if they use that phrase.

I think "go fuck yourself" is pretty strange too. How do you actually go about that?

This one's always bugged me,
"touch bases with you"
Do I look like I'm standing in a darn baseball field?

With a long, fairly flexible penis?

Blame that one on Seinfeld. Now everyone in the world is saying blah, blah, blah in Yiddish.

My exwife used to end every sentence with "You know what I'm sayin'?" Bugged the piss out of me.

I don't find the wink emoticon condescending at all. It helps show the person's post was just kidding or teasing. Can't always tell by just the typed word.
Dave, sometimes gals use the word sistah in a chick comradery way. Does it bother you when guys/gals use the word brothah/brother too?

I know WHY it's used. It just sounds really stupid. Yes, "brutha" sounds stupid, too.

You should have said "Yeah, you just fuckin' told me." Then put a hot iron on her face and asked her the same.

According to the various torture techniques I've seen you write about in here over the last year, if by some sick, twisted joke, I should ever become President, I'm going to nominate you to the Supreme Court.

Thank you! Its Any-HOW!
Also, the phrase "Okie dokie artichokey" makes me want to punch a kitten. Not that I'd ever do that... but that's how irritating it is.

I really don't mind when women say it. HOWEVER, when I hear a guy use that term it makes me want to staple his balls to his stomach and smack them with a boat oar.

That one hasn't even made it to my part of the country. Here's hoping it won't. The one that really gets me, is "Hey, DOG" and there's not a canine in sight.

bonkers
razzle-dazzle
smidge
smudgeon
kermudgeon
pfaff
...and gastrointerology
