They were road WARRIORS until Augeri's voice threw a rod.

stevew2 wrote:They didnt care. I think they would be embarresed to to have a young lead singer{which is want they needed to play as much as they did}.They just wanted a workhorse that would do what they said, till he got lame, they they put him out to pasture

Surely some Augeri fan has the dates he did?

Pretty comparable. Depends on EXACTLY how many shows the band played on each tour with both guys. Close to the same number of full-blown tours but I'd like to see a tour-by-tour side-by-side of the dates.
Someone pull that for us.

Happy fucking 30th .What a way to celebrate an anniversiary then to sacrifice your lead singer, make him play air guitar, then drag him through the mud into 2006, then finish the job after 5 gigs and let him die on his own, then bring in another singer, and then give him the shaft after he gave his awe. Sorry to bitch, I got off the subject, thanks for the clips,
JR (Susie) wrote:So an average of about 96 shows a year. What's amazing is that there was one leg that was 30 or 31 days straight. How any vocalist can do that is beyond me!

I was two rows back for our Generations concert. I remember thinking that the acoustics were terrible, that the music was overpowering Steve and even that close I was straining to hear him sing. I never had any inkling there was "tapegate" or anything else going on but I knew something wasn't right. Little did I know....

So just looking at those years, it's about an average of 63 shows. About 2/3 of the Perry era. I'd be interested to see how close they were together tho (how many nites a week)
