If you're not familiar with Royal Hunt, shame on you.

Anyway, this is awesome stuff. This is when D.C. Cooper was still in the band, prior to their last album with him in 1997, "Paradox". I prefer him to John West, though he is also a great singer in his own right. Wish I had this on DVD. All the videos from this show, broadcast on television in Japan, are on Youtube. These are listed in the same order as the tunes on the CD are in...
  1. Flight
  2. 1348
  3. Wasted Time
  4. Stay Down
  5. On the Run
  6. Stranded
  7. Martial Arts
  8. Far Away
  9. Last Goodbye
  10. Land of Broken Hearts
  11. Makin' a Mess
  12. Clown in the Mirror
  13. Guitar Solo
  14. Step By Step
  15. Drums & Bass Solo
  16. Running Wild
  17. Epilogue
  18. Age Gone Wild
  19. Ten to Life
  20. Legion of the Damned
  21. Kingdom Dark
  22. Time

For you singers, check out track #8, "Far Away", especially. He sounds fantastic on all the other ones but that one song alone probably showcases his full range and technique better than the others.

You went to a great deal of trouble to put this together and I for one really appreciate it, thank you. I will spend some time watching these today while at work.

DC has a good voice but I prefer John West's, which sounds smoother, more caressing to me. He also has that "human bell sound" like SP...I highly recommend the DVD, Royal Hunt LIVE 2006...not a bad song on there.
