Rock on? Yeah.. I wish! Neal felt he was in a box. Apparently, he's still in that box, by his choice now. Fucking sad how he let it all go.. Well, not all. He's still got his box.

I wanna share a story...
Yesterday, I was at my son's high school basketball team camp. A woman walked by me wearing a Journey t-shirt (the pink one with brown writing that says 'Don't Stop Believin' on it). I approached her during the day, and started a conversation about the shirt, telling her that I had the same one and that when I went to the Pompano show in February I got the band members to sign it, etc. She was telling me about a show she went to last summer, July 7th to be exact... She said the guy that was supposed to be there was sick, so this other guy was filling in for him. She raved about how incredible this new guy was!!!! Of course, I had to snicker a little bit and tell her that "hey, I know him". I told her how I met JSS a few times because we had some mutual friends, and that I had gone up & down the east coast to see him front the band. She seemed to really love my stories, and said she hoped they came back to Virginia some time soon.
Of course, at that point I had to break the news to her that she would not be getting that wish. I told her about how the odd couple screwed themselves out of a new direction, and essentially drove away LOTS of new and old fans. She seemed truly disappointed, and kept going back to how great she thought Jeff was when she saw him last year. It was a bittersweet experience for me. I was so happy to hear that someone from my area (she lives about 5 minutes from where I work) was that impressed by JSS, and yet so sad that unless we get a solo or Talisman tour on the east coast at some point, this lady will not be able to see Jeff again, and THAT would truly be a shame!
On a side note, I hear what Dean is saying about Neal, but he's not gonna weasel his way out of yet another fiasco by playing dumb. I don't buy it. It may be true, but I still hold him accountable as THE head of the family.

Jeff should have been able to hand out his own postcards or something at the Journey concerts to promote himself, not fair.

Most people I talk to {apart from here] still think Steve P is still singing in the band, I like your story though. I tried explaining what went on one time and they looked at me like I was nuts, then have way through they changed the subject. i dont bother any more

I think it is a really good thing for JSS. After all is said and done they would be riding his popularity to sell more records. So I think it was for the best and they really did him a favor because now he can really soar. And all of us will benefit from that. I can not wait to see what JSS does next. I bet it will be great. I'd much rather give my money to him anyway!

Jeez listen to Neal, it's almost metal the way he's playing it. Rockin'
If shorty needs money so bad, just sell this recording to hardcore fans from the website.
Then, back to state fairs with a tribute guy with a powder blue leisure suit & be 1981.

We don't all have insider knowledge like you.
I see a possible misunderstanding and plenty of downtime to set it straight.

Gimme JSS' and Cain's #s, they're the first 2 that I need an audience with.

I won't give out Jeff's digits, but Cain's is (415) ASS-HOLE. Good luck getting through. Make sure you wipe down your phone after your done, as the shit he oozes comes through the line.

Deano, you seem to giving Cain most of the blame for ousting Jeff, did Neal just kiss Cain's ass and go along with it?
I suppose Valory and Castronovo didn't want to make waves (for fear of losing their jobs) and just went along with it, as well?
