Hello....newbie to posting but I have been reading and watching this site for along time. I realize I am about to be curcified for being new and y'all will mostly be mean - as seems to be the norm - but Ima big girl....so hit me with your best shot.

I was wondering why no one has posted the mp3 for the Guff/Sp Song "I Can See It In Your Eyes" so in case you don't have Guffs new CD (Symphony of Voices" people can hear STEVE singing with Guff???? I went to see Guff (no, Steve did not show up) for their CD release show in their hometown of Athens GA. They did a good job with the song, even w/o Steve.

Don't kill me too bad...its just a question...I'd post it myself...but I'll beat ya to it, Ima idiot...and I don't know nothing about how to post a song link. However, I can send it to someone who does know how if they would like. BTW Deano, we have actually posted back and forth before on another site....GODS, this is gonna hurt ain't it???...I'm getting black and blue in anticipation......

Because it is illegal. Boots are ok to post, licensed music is not.

You need to buddy up to somebody who has it and have them send it to you.

Ilegal??? Ok, interesting....does this have something to do with the July 15th internet radio royalities/vote thing? If not, and I have permission from the Guff guys, would it still be illegal? Just asking. Anyway, thanks for leaving me unburised, I appreciate it. I keep in contact with Guff on a regular basis, they really are pretty interesting guys. I will be seeing them again this weekend in ATL at Lenny's, then they are off on the WARPED tour...dates of which you can check out on their myspace page, or if I am allowed I can post them...they may be coming to a city near you and you can check them out for yourself.

And thanks for the offer to have some one send it to me....but I already have the CD, the guys gave me one and autographed it for me when I saw them in Athens in June. They also autographed one of the TeeShirts I had made for them just for the Athens CD release party. I can post pictures of the guys at the party and the TeeShirt too, if I am allowed. Rules is rules and so far as I can tell I haven't broke any...yet, and don't plan to...I kinda like the NONE blackandblue look.

We don't post official releases as that infringes on the copyrights & royalties owed to the artists. We do post concert boots. That's what was meant.

Right. Anyone who is interested can buy the song on iTunes, it's there now.

I wasn't asking if someone would post the song clip so I could hear it......I was asking that if I sent my clip/copy of the song to someone one on this site could/would they post it for me since I don't know how to upload a song clip for posting in a forum. I suppose it could have been taken that I wanted to hear the clip/song and I appologize for the confusion. But since it has been explained to me it is illegal it is now a moot request.

However, thank you for the informative information and some do's and don'ts on this site.

Sorry then. I think we totally misunderstood what u wanted. At least I read it as u wanting the song.
