Hmmm, wonder if this has anything to do with Skeletor's "gut feeling"

I'm convinced, the next terrorist attack or at the very least, thwarting of such an attack....would happen when republican support for Iraq erodes to the point where Bush could be out voted. We're quite close as it stands now. I think 60 votes are needed, right? 3 republican senators defected last week....then, ironically, we get skeletor having a gut feeling about more terrorism.

Ugh, I can't wait until jan 2009....I can only hope it isn't fucking Billery taking office...

of to buy with tax payers money... i even held a meeting with 150 people explaining them how to use the
duct tape,, FEMA loves the duct tape..

I say GWB and his Generals know more about this than any Congressman, or the American public for that matter.

For God's sake, let the man do (and finish) his job.

May I say to you young people that we are in WW III for the rest of our lives. I don't care who the President is they will continue ,but the fact is they have been hitting out interests since Carter was President. This is about the Crusades and Religion in their minds. The biggest obstacle has been Musharrif and his refusal to allow us into Pakistan where everyone knows BinLaden is hiding at 5,000 ft with the tribes who protect him. Pakistan , I will say, has lost many soldiers trying to get up there, but they don't have the high ground they are easy pick off's. When the Dems extract us from Iraq, you will pay huge increases in oil prices and ALQueda will take over and have more money to buy weapons off Russia's and China's weapons flea markets. Don't think for a moment that Russia & China are not salavating to get increased revenue, all the while not having to fire a shot at us themselves. Another question- which party blocks us from drilling for oil off our own coasts while China is drilling in the Gulf of Mexico? Everyone knows we have the safer technology to drill 5-6 miles down. If the Saudi's get hit gas would have been $10.00 only they caught the 172 terrorists trying to blow up their refineries 2 months ago. $7 - 10 dollar gas = depression.

I'm thinking about the song that goes, "paranoia will destroy ya!" Let it go already. It won't happen. The world will be at peace again once the US pulls out of Iraq. And, the sooner that happens, the better.

Another ploy by a lame duck POTUS who wants to hang onto the office as long as he can. Rumors abound that he'll try to expand his term due to some provision in the Homeland Security Act.

It's just one of those things we've had to counter terrorism in this country since the romans invaded. I remember as a child Pub bombings, Letter bombs, nail bombs and the likes being delivered to business and homes. thats with out all the shootings.
Even, once listening to Mrs Thatcher making a speech in the house of commons, as she was speaking there was a sound like a big door shutting somewhere in the building, only to see a news flash come up some minutes later that Airey Neave an MP, had been getting into his car and it had been detonated as he was getting into it ( booby trapped)... weird knowing someone was blown up and I heard it on the TV.....
:?

Thank you Wally Hatchet!

You know...

If they publish reports like this (as it's their JOB to do), everyone jumps up and down saying Bush is just using scare tactics. If they don't publish these reports, we hear nothing but "If Bush was doing his job, we would have know about the attacks". WTF would you people like our President to do (other than jump in front of the next bus-load of illegal aliens coming across the border)??? I just don't get it.

Amen to that. Unfortunately...we seem to have short memories here in the States. When terrorists attacked us in Yemen, Clinton did nothing. Did that instantiate peace? No...and neither will pulling out of Iraq. To the terrorists, that would mean victory...and they would press on in their attacks with no other conflict to stop them.

Well put G.I. Jim...it is always easy to throw stones. Bush has been demonized by the liberal media, so it really wouldn't matter what he did or how good it was. I am not saying he is perfect...he is a politician. I am simply saying I feel much better with someone like Bush in office than the damn linerals that want to sell out!

This will not happen. The Dems know what would happen if we left. If they do win the White House. That's why they're pushing Bush so hard to do it before he leaves. So he can be blamed. The Dems said they'd do something about Iraq if they won congress. They won both houses and won't do a damn thing. Now you have Sheehan threatening to run against Pelosi because of their inaction! They don't have the balls to do anything but criticize.

You had me until the last line. I agree completely with the rest of the post. Bush is a one trick pony and the war is it.
