MR

1) The room will handle up to 40 people
2) They cannot keep other guests out
3) No booze can be poured in the game room.

So... we can't reserve it, and if the group want liquor (did I just say that???), you'd have to 'pour in your own room' and then bring down in a plastic cup.

Worth it? Bag it? Come up with alternate ideas? What bars are nearby?

I was thinking that we could all meet in the gameroom at about 9 after everyone gets a little more settled after their flights/drives and everything. But as far as the drinking goes....that'll be in the rooms and/or bars. I know I'm bartending...but this is a new town for me and I'm PROBABLY gonna get restless and go explore outside the hotel.

We get buzzed up at the hotel in my room (I'll have a ton of booze) and head out bar hopping. When everything closes we go back to the hotel and party til dawn. Wake up at about noon and head over to the MR show.

I imagine there will be drinking IN the rooms, OUT of the rooms.....

Are there conjoined rooms at the Residence??? That way, we can just open the door and have a LOT more space.

When we check-in we should ask to be put on the same floor! We did that in FL. I wish I could party all night, but age requires that I get some sleep...Cindy can party with you for both of us...She's a lot younger....

It'll probably be after nine before we even get to SB, so I guess we'll just migrate to wherever we hear the most noise after we get settled in. After a 10 - 12 hr drive I don't know how much partying I'll have left.
