Just heard this on XM this morning. Steve Perry stated that he wants NOTHING to do with Journey any longer. He says that to put all rumors to rest once and for all. He doesn't even want to entertain the idea of having lunch with them at this point.

I think that should finally put the Perry is coming back bullshit to rest.

Wow, he sounds pretty disgusted with them. He's probably moreso that way after the way they treated Augeri and Jeff. I'm sure he sees the similarities in the way they treated him. At least he got a phone call.

He doesn't give a rats ass about Augeri or JSS. He made that particularly clear about Augeri.

There are also 2 sources which already confirmed this:Perry himself one month ago in what I believe is an official statement (via Fan Asylum) and Andrew who said that Perry is NOT going back to Journey.

The usual fluff interview Susie. How's he doing? Is he recording and thinking about touring. That kind of stuff. But basically when it came to the Journey questions, he seemed genuinely agitated about having to talk about Journey and the singer issue yet again. He reiterated for the umpteenth time that he is content with his life as it is right now.

I don't know about this interview, but Perry has stated this MANY times, he would not go back to Journey, and that he enjoys his private life . Those of us fans that "truly support him" ALREADY know this, and respect his right to live his life the way he wants to.

Well I would NEVER want to file Perry away for good, Perry CAN live his life the way he chooses to, but I'll always keep listening to HIS music forever!
