Dump Cain, bring back Rolie and Perry or JSS & I'll be back.

If Journey plays at the venue near my house, I am close enough that I could listen for free. There you go...

I'll be there regardless. I love the music and I'm ready to hear someone on vocals that is as good as Perry. He's out there and I'm ready to hear him now.

I'd be the first in line for any line-up with Journey as long as it includes Schon n' Valory.

There are a few scenarios where I would go to see a Journey show.
1. Perry comes back (not happening)
2. Steve Smith comes back (not happening)
3. Journey records and tours new material worthy of the Perry years legacy with a new singer (because I'm bored of the GH tour). (also, not happening)
Basically, all I'm left with is recordings of some great music by some musicians who were great while working together but couldn't put the music above their personal differences. I'll buy Schon's solo instrumental albums when they come out (eye on U was great).
I'll keep tabs on the soap opera that has become Journey just because watching a train wreck is entertaining. Other than that, one of the three things mentioned above needs to happen to get me to go see a show again.

I would go see them IF and only IF they record NEW music worthy of being called Journey before touring.
If they are only going to tour behind the dirty dozen I am not interested.

Without question I will be there!
Neal Schon is Journey, he's the only member of Journey that the band can not exist without.
As long as Neal Schon is touring with Journey (or whatever band he's in) I will be there.
The only exception to that would be if the ticket prices continue to be raised to the insane prices that some other bands have been charging. That's not to say that Journey haven't been charging too much, because they were with Def Leppard.
I know this is highly unlikely, but I would love to see Journey revisit the idea of recording and touring with this line-up.
Kevin Chalfant: Lead Vocals
Neal schon: Guitar
Jonathan Cain: Keyboards
Gregg Rolie: Keyboards, Lead Vocals
Steve Smith: Drums
Ross Valory: Bass
I love Deen's drumming and vocals, so I'd hate to see him go, but I would love to see that line-up!

Without Perry or Jeff... nope. My money is better spent elsewhere.
They've shot themselves in the foot big time, and with Sony promoting a Perry-led former Journey only, it's looking more and more like they are done completely anyway. That's one way to keep the legacy protected...

I agree. I have thought about it a lot. Just can't see myself going otherwise.

I'll be there as long as the new singer is Jeremey or Perry. Anyone else, probably gonna have to listen to them first and get the scouting report.

I would ONLY go if Perry was up there w/them. That would be b/c of how much I love & respect him & how incredible he is. I would be able to focus on him & ignore the other idiots. Since that isn't going to happen, I won't be at any Journey shows.

Why the fuck would any of you bother?
Really, aren't you people fed up enough to not give Neal his much needed Alimony money?
Sure, you can say...only with Perry. But lets face it, that aint happening. So is it a pipe dream or are you giving yourself the out in a few months when you feel bad for little ole Nealpoleon? Are you going to relax your principles another inch or two in a few more months when they come parading around a new singer, freshly culled from a tribute band, to sap you of more of your hard earned greenbacks? Why give Neal the means to wiggle out of yet another mistake he made with his Richard...on this continent or another.
This band, this organization, has fucked me (as a person and as a fan) in so many different angles, that I feel like Yasmine Bleeth after spending the weekend at Scott Baio's house. I'm through with Journey, no matter what the incarnation. Perry can save Journey...that I admit. But face it, it aint happening...and even if it were, I've had my fill of them. Hell, I stopped paying for Journey shit back in 01 anyway. But why even show my face at these shows. The less fans, the better, in my opinion. This way Neal Schon can end his life the same way he's treated people. Like complete crap and in shame with no money left to pay for his mistakes. Kharma's a bitch people, but only if you help it along to do it's work.

And when they do Philly I'll be with you. Been wanting to go there for quite some time. We'll get trashed and have fun. That's what it's about for me....the music and fun. I don't think any more or less of Schon and Cain than I did 9 years ago.

Only if The Voice tours--anything else would be a Perry-less Journey. Pun intended.

If they are double-billing with a band i want to see then i may see them purely by association.
I wont deliberately pay to see them if its gonna be a Perry clone up front.
Makes it all seem a bit Karaoke and i have a moral issue lining the pockets of these guys after their recent actions..

What if it's The Rasp, The Wheeze, or worse The Croak now?

Nope. Too much water under the bridge. I am, however going to see JSS in September and I'll be front row if SA tours at all.
And if Perry ever tours, I'll die of a cardiac arrest so I wont' be able to make it.
