A guitarist dies and is quite please to find that he ends up standing before the pearly gates of Guitar Heaven. St. Peter shows him in, and gives him a guided tour.

"And this is Jimi's room..." and the guitarist is totally over the moon.

Someone in the next room is playing really fast neo-classical shreds through what sounds very much like a vintage Strat. The guitarist is confused as it sounds so much like Yngwie. The next day he tells Peter that he is almost certain that Yngwie's in the next room.

Peter pulls him to one side, and whispers into his ear, "Shhh.... don't tell anyone. That's God. He thinks he's Yngwie Malmsteen"

YJM took a lot of ribbing because he has always come accross as cocky,, when in fact SOME of the
problem was that he didnt understand the english language, nor the english custom of what should

Yngwie, Humble?
Well nowdays maybe.He actually is more humble,,, he is laid back,, and doesnt drink anymore ,,, and plays alot of Tennis with his drummer Patrick.

Ooh Damn it!! It is gone from Youtube??? Do you have a copy of this?? I would love to hear/see it!!! Yngwie is an amazing player, but I have always heard what a total asshole he was

The last time I saw him perform, I soooo wanted to just give him a water pill for those cheeks I couldn't keep track of how many times he wiped his nose in the middle of playing?? It drove me crazy!!! My friends and I have been calling him "cheek sucker" for years. If you ever look at any of the pictures he has had taken, he soooo sucks in those fat cheeks
