The former Led Zeppelin frontman's album with bluegrass star Alison Krauss, "Raising Sand," will be released Oct. 23 on Rounder Records, the label announced Friday, Aug. 3, 2007.

Oh my...I didn't even recognize him. :?

What is it with Alison Krauss?First that duet with John Waite, now an album with Plant...Her part in the JW duet didn't impress me too much, but I'm somehow curious to hear this project.

Thanks for the info.

Alison Krauss is "cool" to like now in the mainstream/pop arena...she's been around for years and is highly talented, but she's in fashion now....she'll be around long after all this attention is over too....

AK has also done a duet with Tommy Shaw, "Half A Mind". I believe on Tommy's "7 Deadly Zens" album.

At least he's not doing that god-awful coloring job like Neal does with his hair. Age gracefully for crying out loud. I'd rather see a graying wrinkled old rat like Plant than someone like Neal trying to make his hair darker than it was in his 20s and stretching his skin tighter than Deen's drums.

That's true. It's really embarrassing to see some 50+ men (and everyone knows they are over 50!) pretending that time doesn't touch them.
Sure, they can take care of themselves and stay in a good healthy shape, but pumping Botox into their face until the smile looks more like the response to a lumbago episode,is downright sad.
