I was listening to this CD again, and man, what a GREAT disc. End to end, its just a beautiful sound. God, I love Anyway and Missing You. You Better Wait, just too much greatness-puts you on brain overload. If you never got this CD I really recommend you to grab it-as soon as you can, add this one!!!

Most people here like "Street Talk" better but I prefer FTLOSM. It's less "poppy" to my ears, even though there are two pretty soft ballads there in "I Am" and "Missing You" and I love both of those also, especially the latter.

Love it. That Disc must have pissed Cain & Schon off when it came out? Like, did Perry really need them?

I absolutely love this CD. In fact, I have a hard time deciding if I love it more than TBF or ROR. It's all about the vocals for me and the vocals on FTLOSM are superb.

Nope, he didn't need them, except at that particular point in time when they were about to lose their contract because they weren't quite good enough, and the contract for Perry's band had fallen through because one of the guys died in an auto accident.

They needed each other then. It was serendipity.

Fuckers....I never bought this album but I'm going to now. Since I never bought it and only gave it a few listens (borrowed it) a LONG time ago, It'll be like Perry came out with new music. Gotta put a positive spin on this somehow. :)

The usual code for Steve's voice isn't what it used to be and the album sucks.

You complete tool.

The first 2 bonus cuts, particularly Friends Of Mine, are better than the original 11.
Go get it, for MY taste p's finest vocal effort track-for-track.

No, it's not. I already wasted 45 minutes of my life listening to the original lifeless adult contemporary drivel. I wouldn't exactly consider more of that crap a bonus. Nothing catchy on it, no hooks, nothing memorable.

Strange that I feel the same way about Trial By Fire. I see a trend. (Although even TBF has a few songs)

I get why some people pretend to like it. When my favorite artists take a smelly dump and it's pressed onto CD and released, I too go looking for a bright side to it, and sometimes even convince myself that it's good when I'm only kidding myself.

I don't listen to it all that often but I do really enjoy it. No pretending to it. It rocks more than "Street Talk" in my opinion and the pop stuff isn't quite so sugary. I despise "It's Only Love" and "Strung Out" from ST and there's really nothinng on FTLOSM that approaches that kind of crappiness for me.

Now, from what I know of "Against the Wall", that would easily out-suck either ST or FTLOSM.

Anything, and I mean anything Perry ever sang is great to you. If I ever heard an ill word about Perry from you, I'd fall out of my chair. Just thought I would poke you in the ribs a little. :D
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Well gee Rick, I just have a HUGE appreciation for Perry's talent, and I know I'm NOT alone in feeling that way about him. Besides Perry's never done anything unkind to ME , so why would I have a reason to speak ill of him???
