thanks for bringing this out... if i have seen it before , then i had forgotten about it.........it angers me that
i have a disrespect for Neal Schon now.. he is one of the most versitle rock guitarist out there........im not
saying that he blew Slash off the stage... but i certainly choose neals solo .... slash is a great player but i
think he did as any blues/rock type of guitar player would do if your sharing a stage with a guy like
schon.. you play some tasty blues bends and keep your place.. ..

I agree, and Slash knew he was second in that guitar duo. Neither of them tried to outshine the other, it was done very well by both.

I agree. I saw Jeff with Journey in Buffalo during the Def Leppard tour and I saw a fire under the band that I had never saw before. If they were smart they would have taken advantage of the good publicity from the sopranos finale but they shot themselves in the foot instead.

Too bad Neal does't have the fro anymore, would've been cool to see dueling fro's.

Is it my imagination, or is Paul Rodgers getting better with age? Just amazing.

Slash has never really had a 'fro, just long curly hair. Neal's was definitely a 'fro, though, and I thought he actually looked pretty cool when he had it going on with the fu manchu thing.

His voice has definitely aged better than most.

The best thing about it is that it pisses off the Loons.

Not this one. Mercury, much like Perry, would probably NOT be able to perform his back catalog either if he were still alive. Part of the greatness of Perry and Mercury is that a lot of the material they did was captured when, and only when, it could have been. Special performances by special singers.
