Actually Ed is just fine with this. Ed nor Al like to be the lead. It's expected for Dave to be this way. I didn't see where Ed was ticked at all like in '96. Ed seemed very cool about it.
But I hear what you are saying.
Especially with bringing Wolfy in, I believe Ed is going to be a different Ed on many levels.

Dave will always have LSD (lead singer's disease) and all those irritating qualities that make the axe players want to jump off a building. Anybody know what ticket prices are gonna be like?

It's interesting to note that Eddie isn't slurring his words at all...he's talking like a completely different individual than he did even a year ago...

If it's long term, I'll be one happy mother fucker...I've been waiting for VH to get busy again...I really think the world needs some good EVH in their lives...not a drunken slob...but some seriously amazing evh....hopefully a sober eddie will prove to be the ticket.

Eddie had more pills in him than Brett Favre in 1998. Dude has mush mouth. This tour is a disaster waiting to happen. I've ALWAYS disliked the DLR lineup and I'm going to revel in their demise. The only decent human being from this lineup isn't even there.

They grossed 40 million in '04 with Hagar. I bet this one blows past that figure, easily.
Yeah, Dave looks and sounds good right now. I hope that's the case by mid-tour for him AND Ed.
