KISS on the Dressed to Kill and Dynasty Tours would have been cool. Didn't see them live until Animalize in '84.

The Dynasty tour is an interesting choice, Frostbite....

I didn't see them until Animalize either. I remember Bon Jovi were supporting them and they were soulless and over-professional even then. KISS on the other hand came on and did an encore in their dressing gowns...

The concert I wish I'd seen most of alll.... It has to be any show with Perry, Schon and Cain on the same stage together - with the exception of that Bill Graham concert in 1991.

I actually saw Kiss on their Dynasty in Europe (I'm an old bastard you know) Kind of cool gig.
There was also an umknown band who was warming up the audience before Kiss entered.
A bunch of young kids from London in a band called ........IRON MAIDEN !!! :D

JSS ROCKS !!!

Queen with Freddie. I saw Journey during ROR twice, but second runner up would have been an early Departure or Evolution tour.

Did you see the first KISS reunion tour in 1996/97? They pretty much replicated that 1977 show and then uppped the ante still further. Great concert.

Agreed in regards to QUEEN. Any tour would have been dynamite.

Saw KISS on the DYNASTY tour. My brothers and I took in two shows on that tour. As good as it seemed to us young kids back then, recently we were discussing how odd it was that, as much as we loved KISS as kids, and were old enough to be around in their prime, we didn't get to see them till they were on the decline (which the DYNASTY tour certainly was - read some excerpts sometime from the KISS ALIVE FOREVER book, and you'll see what I mean. Particularly Peter's playing...)

That may be the worst run on sentence I've ever written. Oh well...I haven't had my coffee yet!

Besides the obvious, of course, Journey

It'd be the Stones.

Period.

Overpriced and not their prime anymore. I do have The Biggest Bang DVD boxset though, which @ under $30 for not one but 3 concerts in your living room is better than being 200 yards away for $200 and hearing Keith play It's Only RockNRoll (But I Like It) for 53 seconds while the rest of the band is playing Satisfaction.

This is gonna sound ridiculous but I would really have wanted to see Elvis in his prime. Not fat bloated dead on the shitter Elvis, but the Ed Sullivan Elvis. Dude had some serious stage presence when he was young.

Not ridiculous in the least. Did you ever watch that '68 comeback special he did? That's one show I wish I could've seen live. Great acoustic sets...it had to be a major influence for MTV Unplugged. He was a great musician and entertainer before the drugs took hold of him.
