Okay, this is all in fun - but which singer would you choose out of these to fill JSS's shoes in Journey.

Actually, as I was making the poll I just kind of pulled Max Bacon out of the air. He has GOT to be available. He had a good voice. That GTR album was really good. He was supposed to replace Wetton in Asia after Then & Now but that never happened.

NONE of THE ABOVE....THIS IS NO MORE jOURNEY!
Only if by some miracle and I mean miracle a real miracle that SP or JSS would return and there is no chance in hell any of that is happening.

You cannot replace Soto. You cannot replace (or clone, or whatever) Steve Perry.

I think that the point might be missed here. If you ONLY had these choices and you had to choose one of them (otherwise Journey will choose Jobriath as their lead singer and play only songs from Raised On Radio), which one would you choose. None of the above is not an answer. What would be the lesser of the evils if you wouldn't want any of them?

None of the above is the only answer. Or maybe Steve Perry.
Note - Steve Walsh is not what he used to be, although he's living healthier and cleaner now and has restored some of his vocal abilities.

The point is that with these choices, it might as well be Jobriath (who he?). None of the above.

This place is completely insane....

Everyone is replaceable. Some stay for the ride, some don't. The songs are what matters. Ask anyone at a Frontiers, Evolution or Lights show.

The song and the singer both matter - especially in a band like Journey - and I don't believe for a second you are indifferent about who sings them for Journey, NIG.

No, I am not indifferent at all! I loved Perry, really liked Augeri, and was pumped for Soto's era with the band. I hope they pick the right guy next.
The singer is vital, but Neal's guitar is even more so to me.

I can easily understand how you feel, being the Schon fan that you are. Whatever IS to us is right. Can't help how we feel.

Maybe so in Journey, but not so with me. They lost a good thing when they let him go. Never said Perry was replaceable, either. Fans were just beginning to get used to Jeff and were really starting to like him before he was cast aside like yesterday's garbage. I feel sorry for whoever comes after him, whether it's Kevin, Hugo, Arnel, or some poor unheard of soul who thinks this will be like living a dream, only to eventually get shit on. I've never seen a band make as many stupid business and creative decisions as this one. They should rename the band Cluster F--k, because due to their actions that is what they've become.

First of all, (said nicely) its Bo Bice and he certainly looks the part, but not sure about his range. He has a decent voice and the girls would love him.

I voted for Greg X Volz.........and I have no idea who the hell that is. I would just as soon vote for James Earl Jones. It is all irrelevant!
