Thanks Bionic - but I have to say that Denander guy really gets on my wick. He's strikes me as the archetypal wannabe/celebrity butt-kisser and he's been banging on about his tenuous connection with Perry for almost two years now. Let's hope he's finally milked that one dry....

I found him to be just a fan the same as you and i, except he has a knack for good songwriting and Steve Perry is one of his heroes and he wants to write with him.Though pinning Perry down is never easy :?

Sorry Bionic - but I seem to remember that there was a ripple of excitment a year or so ago caused by his remarks that he actually was writing with Perry. Also - that Denander was passing himself off as much more than just a fan....that he was in fact an AOR musician and producer of such great stature that it was only natural that he'd be working with a guy on Perry's level.

Maybe I've got all this wrong and am being unfair to him though....

I'd put money on Tommy never writing a note with Steve Perry. No slight against either, just don't see it happening.

The Rush interview is excellent, as done my my great buddy Phil Ashcroft (Rush lunatic) and KC is always a good read :)

One thing is for certain...the guy has worked with (if only very briefly) a TON of legendary AOR musicians during his career. Getting 5 minutes of Steve Perry's time, shouldn't be too much more of a challenge. (yeah right! ;-)

Oh..okay...fair enough Larry. I just remember going to his website one time and he'd put loads of photos of himself posing with famous rock stars he'd collared in the corridors at some music conference. This really didn't seem like the behaviour of a big league guy....

Check out his own project Radioactive some of the musicians he has included are Toto past and present members,Fee Waybill,Jason Scheff,Jim Jidhed,Fergie Frederiksen,Steve Overland,Tony Franklin,Neal Schon,Gary Barden,James Christian and Robin Beck to name a few! Having done the interview like i said before he is just a fan like me and you except he has written with a lot of people,he must have a talent to get all this guys on his Radioactive projects. :)
