Hey guys and gals,

If you live anywhere near Louisville, Ky you should know that a major Pink Floyd tribute act is coming together. I auditioned for druming/backround vox and got the gig. This thing is easily on par with the Austrailian Pink Floyd Tribute as far as muscianship, lights, video and production are concerned. It is basicly a clone of a PInk Floyd show but on a smaller scale. Our 1st show will be at Coyetes in Lousville, Ky on Oct 31st so if you live in the region and like Pink Floyd you really might want to check this out. I was shocked myself on how much attention to detail these guys have given to this. There really isnt anything missing from the songs at all as far as sounds are concerned and Dark Side Of The Moon is played verbatim as is most of the wall. The female backup vocalists they found are amazing and I mean fucking amazing which is one of the most crucial elements to the Floyd sound (great gig in the sky will send shimmers down your spine I swear). Hope some of you guys can make it out if you live close enough. I will post some links here when we get our media online.

Why isnt there a Floyd forum BTW? They are rock and they about as melodic as it gets.

Here is a pic of the aussie pink floyd stage setup. Ours is basicly a carbon copy if the venue is large enough for the big arch....

Investors and sponsors which are already in place for this. I wondered that myself.

If you play in Chicago, I'd totally come check it out. Always been a Floyd fan, especially the earlier stuff like Meddle.

Aussie Floyd is playing here but tickets are $55. I know they're good, but it's still $60+ (with the Ticketbastard fees) for a tribute band.

We already sound very close on a few songs and it is really not all that hard because these songs are etched in our minds so well that any mistakes are purley transitional between songs. So far the hardest part about playing these songs is the way they transistion from one to the next without stopping. Other than thay we are on track and sounding way better than I thought possible for only 2 rehersals !

Cant wait to play out !!
