A BETTER LIFE - CHORDS/TAB?

Postby PianoMan1986 » Thu Sep 20, 2007 4:33 am

Greetings,

This is probably one of my favorite Journey songs and I would love to be able to play it, or at least the rhythm guitar riff/progression. If anyone has the chords for this or a fairly accurate TAB, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I also posted a question asking about the bass riff that occurs in Don't Stop Believin' at the "Streetlight people..." section (not the end of the song) but I didn't quite grasp the reply that I received (it just had a sequence of about 8 notes and said ascending and descending...basically it didn't seem to quite match up).

Anyway, as always I appreciate the replies and assistance.

Thanks,
Nick

Just find the guitar tab to "Hazard" by Richard Marx - it's basically the same song.

Now that you mention it, they are pretty similar. Hadn't thought of that before. "Hazard" is a great tune, BTW.

Crap. That was one of my favorite post-Perry songs until you said it sounds like Richard Marx.

It's a direct rip off of Hazard. Richard is sort of effeminite, but dude can write a song.

Marx has a great voice and is an excellent songwriter. Anyone who says otherwise can eat my bunghole.

Guess I won't do that then! Actually I never really heard much of his stuff. I kind of thought the same as Deano in his description back in the day, but I will check some of his stuff out.

I appreciate the replys as well as the suggestion of looking at another song. Maybe someone else will come along to provide a little more assistance.

Pianoman, PM LocknLoad. If he doesn't know the tabs no one will! LOL, Neal is a musical genius but he can't read music! Not a slam on the guy, for I will never slam his musical talent...in fact, I am more impressed he can play the way he does and doesn't read music.
