I listened to this CD last night. In fact I listen to it a lot and the emotion and incredible vocals in title track still amaze me.

a nice little mix of R&B and gospel - Steve's voice was made for it.

I'll probably be forced to turn in my avatar or something for saying this but, there are only really 2 songs on this one that I voluntarily go to, so I voted for "Young Hearts Forever" because it's the only one that doesn't make me want to jump in front of a speeding vehicle. (And it's kicky!!)

I like Street Talk a whole lot more.

A little Niggy trivia for you: I actually spoke to Perry on the phone (radio show) when that album came out.

Did you tell him you thought FTLOSM was a dud?

I didn't have it yet.

I'll be honest with you -- when I first got this and played it in it's entirety, I didnt really care for it. But, the more I listen to it, the more I really like it. There is nothing wrong with his voice on this one.

That being said, my favorite is a toss up between I am and Anyway. His voice is so powerful and soulful. Love it.

Tough choice there, Moonie...but had to go with Anyway...The emotion in that song makes me cry.

You better wait is a very close second.

Decent album all around though.

Didn't care much about the album initially except for You Better Wait. But then after a couple of times playing and replaying I started to pretty much like/love them all in one way or another.
