Harem Scarem Stage Time

Hey Andrew, any chance that 7th Heaven snags a bit of the stage time left open by HS not being able to perform? I know it's kinda soon to be asking questions, but have you thought about how you're going to make up that time? Wet t-shirt contest wouldn't be a bad route.

PS Sorry to hear about the mess with HS. I know you really wanted those guys to be there. :(

Ask JSS if he will play longer than the hour scheduled. Most people are going to see him anyway. I'm pretty sure his regular set is 2 hours.

Just a thought.

Call Steve Perry. The dude is a tireless worker. I'm sure he'd do it.

Optimist, much?
It could happen! Hell, Zep's got 25 million people ready to shell out half a grand for a pair of tickets.
Why not Perry in SB.

May I recommend Eddie Money? Dude loves performing smaller venues.

You should try to get the Little River Band.

Get Augeri in - Him n Jeff could swap Neal stories - maybe a little open mic standup routine.

As if he has a fucking choice?

Dude is playing the KFC in Northridge next week.

Playing MR fest would be a HUGE difference to what Mahoney is used to. Come on dude, get your dick out of your ear.

Hagar could fill a place that size on his own, probably.

It's too bad Toto are such perfectionists though...it'd be way too expensive to get all their gear out here, which would probably be one of the main things keeping them from playing it.

I saw Spock's Beard in Chicago last year and they played with mostly borrowed/rented gear since it was the only way they could afford to do a small U.S. tour. They took their own guitars, but the amps, drums and some of the keyboards were just rented in each city. I'm sure it wasn't as comfortable as playing with gear you've used for years, but they still did an amazing show.

How about booking me for an hour on stage. I could fuck a rubber duck....and then get completely pissed with you lot afterwards. No fee Drew and I'll supply the ducks  Just the tickets over will suffice

Seriously folks.....have you got the $50k spare it would take to hire LRB for the night? If so...why aren't you a sponsor already.

Hagar costs BIG MONEY!!!!!!!!! And he's playing the same venue 3 weeks later.

Seriosuly - I'm trying to break even here, not bankrupt myself. This Harem problem has cost me enough already.

And Lukather and Kimball were coming along....but Luke has a new baby due any day and the band is scheduled to do a charity appearance same day.

Augeri has been asked on 4 separate ocasions INCLUDING once again this week. Jack Morer (Tall Stories guitarist) has declined on behalf of the band on each occasion.

You need a local band...someone that will put asses in seats. Contact WAOR and see if they have any suggestions. There's a VERY popular band that came out of Notre Dame, but the name escapes me. They're really not my style but they would certainly fill the place up. I'll post their name if I can remember it.

Problem with local bands in that area is that their fans can see them for $5 anytime...I'm asking $47.

Opening act is set and replacement for HS should be done soon.

$50K? I find that hard to believe. They played a tiny hole in the wall in Baltimore a few years ago that holds about 120 people.

Frontiers - as much as I'm a huge Journey fan and I'd like to hear Jeremey live, Chalfont will be doing plenty of Journey, and I would much prefer a well known name band playing their own material to fill the HS slot.

Fly in Arnel. Dude can sing any 10 of his 4,000 cover song catalog. He IS looking for exposure. You'd be a pimp if you landed his first ever North American gig. Then, maybe Schon will show up and we can have a midget tossing contest.
