I don't think that photo's airbrushed. I've seen them up close also and that photo looks like a good representation to me. While Neal is sort of mannequin-esque due to plastic surgery and Ross has always looked old, the other guys look pretty good for their ages.

They look great, Arnel is a monster on vocals, his accent when he talks is insignificantly small, invisible when he sings, and he looks like a good guy. If a guy with his talent from a poor country makes good, I got nothing against that!

I hope he gets the job as long as can create and not just cover the hits well.

The remarks against him for his accent and nationality are shallow and only reflect bad on you.

Is that the photo from the audition? Where did the photo come from?

BTW -saw JEFF SCOTT SOTO BAND Friday and Saturday night - INCREDIBLE!!!

I've had the displeasure of hearing several Jon Cain stories over the past few weeks. That said, I'm 100% convinced that any chances of a reunion with Perry would be exponentially greater if they did NOT involve Friga. Neal, while arrogant, immature and generally stupid, makes decisions based on his "on the road" upbringing. He's been part of a cut throat business for the better part of 40 years...he knows no better. And no matter what anyone says, I can hear adoration, admiration and respect when Neal stops and reminisces about Steve Perry and the time spent with him. And I hear the same in Perry's voice when referring to Neal. They fed off of, and complimented, one another. A truly dynamic combination. That combination was there before Cain and it should be there after Cain if that's what a reunion with Perry means. Friga, on the other hand, uses people. The guy seems like a cunningly evil genius. Neal is being taken for a ride. I suspect that Cain has at least, if not more, control of the band and its day to day decisions. Neal, wake the fuck up and send the princess packing. Anyone can play his keyboard parts and a reunion would be for the old hits only. Hire a great studio keys player, bring back Smitty and split those massive profits 4 ways. Let Tinkerbell go butcher more remakes of Faithfully.
