Heather blew it with one line... on a trick question from bertt...jess and heather... which was i from Brett, I would like both of you to be my girlfiriend.. heather was like sure no problem..jess said no way... CORRECT ANSWER.. was no way... heather was pissed off... and walked out... way too damn funny!!! loved it... if i were brett, i would be very scared of heather...

For as much as I kicked myself for watching this horribly uninventive show, the finale was the best episode! Heather was just hard, and you could tell. What a catch she is...

I still wasn't convinced Bret was looking to settle down... they really kinda skirted that whole issue, and he said things throughout the show that gave different indicators of what he was really looking for. I feel he uses terms like "love", "soul" and all that rather superficially. But I hope it works between them.

They'll live happily ever after, until next season, of course. If I were a guy, I would've picked Jess, too. She's the only one I could probably tolerate being around for an extended period of time. Heather didn't seem too concerned when Bret wasn't feeling well and told her he needed to stop and eat. I think that was the deal breaker in her case. Love the show though. Great guilty pleasure TV viewing.

No surprise here -- Heather came back as soon as the finale aired and said they edited the heck out of her takes. Said that at the end, she did NOT say she'd share Bret. I expected as much -- you can really tell when fiction has been constructed out of these things by the way the scenes and dialog between people cut to each other. Sometimes you can even see the same response from someone (or a facial expression) reappear on a different episode, and you know they've done it. I don't trust any of them.

One thing that couldn't have been created, though, is Heather telling Jess, "Every time you kiss him, you'll be licking me...." HAHA! She still is what she is... doesn't need to be faked.
