While watching COPS :D (I know, but I am stuck in a hotel and nothing else is on), an ad for Panasonic Toughbook laptop computers just came on. They are using Boston's Peace of Mind as background music. It sure sounds like the original with Brad Delp.

I saw the Beatle's All You Need is Love selling LUVS diapers last week. What other songs and their products has anyone noticed lately?

Hmmmm.......... I belive that I have heard ELO in a car commercial. Wasn't American Express, I think, using a Rolling Stone tune at one time? The LUV's commercial I have heard. Target uses the Beatles "Hello, Goodbye" in their commercials. Since I am a stay at home Mom, I will listen to see if I hear any more. :D

The Who's "Bargain" used to run on Nissan ads.
Now Honda got hold of them too, and are currently running "I Can See For Miles".

I hated that commercial. I like the song but the commercial seemed to push the idea that it's okay to cheat as long as you are happy in the end.

You can thank Michael Jackson for whatever happens to the Beatles catalog. You know he will protect the integrity of the songs over the $$$ every time.

I read a while back that he is about to lose the catalog because he can't pay his bills. It would be great if Paul bought it back. Don't know if he would want to spend the $ at this point in life, but he should have the cash.

Paul tried to buy it back a few years ago but MJ wouldn't sell it. I hope Paul is in a position to buy it now.
