Not many believed her miserable performance a few weeks ago. She is too good to be capable of that bad a performance and has become a good actress. She will no doubt be in a few movies next.

I can understand this point of view, and there is definitely truth these days to the "no publicity is bad publicity" concept. She is obviously working the paparazzi, and has been reported to call hotels, events and stuff to find out where stuff is happening, then show up, or simply call the paps to alert them to where she'll be (as if she needs to -- they are all over her like a cheap suit these days). Paris Hilton does the same thing. Obviously the crotch-flashes are intentional.
But if you look at everything she's gotten herself into lately and still take the approach that she's crazy like a fox, it doesn't work in her favor -- constant drug use, losing custody of her kids, leaving them sitting in the car for 40 minutes when she doesn't answer the door for a scheduled visit... Those are not the acts of people in control of their situations.
