Really puzzled regarding JEREMEY

Postby PianoMan1986 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 2:30 pm

No, this isn't anything bad, please don't worry. I am confused though with him auditioning, things I thought went well, then he was declined (for what reason?). Will he have the option for the job at all still or does he not want anything to do with it? I ask since there's obviously still a proponent on this chat forum to see/hear him shine. I was just if anyone could clear this up for me. Thanks

Nick
PS If not JEREMEY, what's going on with ARNEL (whom I'm not too sure about) since nothing official has been stated with the exception of the band picture.

Sincerest apologies for the misspelling, I had no intentions of offending anyone.

There's a part of me going "dude....kiss a little a$$, have some fun with Journey for a while, at the least it will be the ultimate tribute band for him to sing in", but then there's the other side saying, fk it, stay where you are they don't deserve you. argh!!!!

I just posted in the "No Way" thread that I'm not at all puzzled. There are far and away more complimentary comments for Arnel's clips than there are for Jeremey's - and for good reason.

Jeremey sings circles around AP. He brings back the good old days of Journey. If they can't work something out with him, that's their loss.

Then where are all of Jeremey's supporting comments for his videos?

Well, darn. If they weren't disabled, I would have added supporting comments. :) The ratings are great. I have to go to work now, so you'll have to fuss with someone else Fyre.

I just responded to this one yesterday:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SptDFQqBImI

It has a whopping 275 views, too!

How about this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnEDr_mmE9U
It's locked but it certainly didn't receive much support during the time that it was open.

How about this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jxZWjMjLZI

One lousy comment and 307 views. Wow  I was going to post something yesterday questioning one of the comments he made just before the performance but thought, "Why bother - nobody's looking at this stuff anyway."

Do I really have to go on...?

Fyre you fucking cockwad. You have now sunken to new lows douchebag. First and foremost, Jeremey was selected BEFORE Arnel. Jeremey turned it down because he actually gives a shit about something far more important than Journey. His family!

Again I reiterate what I said earlier, FUCK OFF YOU STUPID FUCKTARD!

Yikes, Fyre! You just got the STONE rolled over on ya... haha! Jeremey would have been perfect for Journey, as many of us agree, so try to show some respect, eh?

I didn't know that Jeremey had really turned it down. I thought that Neal called and said that the deal was not official and that they needed Jeremey to work on some more material for them to study. I wonder if they asked, "We want you. Will you join the band," would he jump at the chance?

You have to admit that this is all a lot of valuable publicity for the band while they are off the road. Want to bet that they might try to get Marie Osmond to audition, or even Whitney Houston, just to get a reaction from the fans. To get shock reaction is what's cool these days. Look at all the attention some celebs are getting by stepping out of line.

What the hell is the matter with you, Fyre? There's no reason to be attacking Jeremey. Jeremey has integrity and made his own decision. Too bad for Journey fans, but clearly a good thing for him and his family. Jeremey was clearly the best choice but he has passed. So be it. Believe me, if I ever get the chance to see Frontiers in person, I'll be there in the front row cheering them on.

Yes it does but if he was getting the run-around, I would think it meant that he was still simply being considered and had nothing to turn down except the chance to be considered. I think that if they called and asked, "Do you want the job," he would take it. To turn down an offer to front Journey, not just be considered, would haunt him, if he thought he was capable for the position. JMHO

You'll have to check out his blog at bullmuse.wordpress.com to understand fully -- basically, they DID offer him the job, and he kept the voicemail recording where they welcomed him to the band. I believe within the same day, they backtracked and started hem-hawing about it, which was very uncool to him being that it was a huge life-changing decision to consider. It was much more than just a waiting game, and he didn't want to be jerked around. I don't blame him!

You're wrong, Jeremey sings circles around Arnel. Get your ears checked dude. Plus, Jeremey knows every song in the catalog. Arnel doesn't even speak English well. It would have been a better deal with fewer problems and more fan satisfaction if Jeremey were hired. I don't see what it is you see in Arnel. The only reason he gets so many comments on his youtube videos is because his whole country is behind him. That's the best they've got. Sadly.

Edit: I really wanted to rip you a new one about this, but I'm trying to be a nicer poster. Cheers you deaf fuck.

This is totally typical for this band. They don't say anything, don't post anything, total secrecy, in the midst of using and literally shitting on as many singers as possible. They screwed up once again in not picking Jeremey, plain and simple. He has the voice and stage presence to give the band's legacy (what little is left after the Frig and Fro show we've been through) some sort of respect. I have to give credit to Jeremey for not letting them use him and then shit on him. There are things more important than some quick cash.... Schon and Cain are right about 1 thing....it IS about the band's legacy at this point, as nothing they have done since losing Perry has earned notice.....

One lousy comment and 307 views. Wow  I was going to post something yesterday questioning one of the comments he made just before the performance but thought, "Why bother - nobody's looking at this stuff anyway."

Do I really have to go on...?

Fyre, I withhold myself from letting go on people the best I can, but your recent posts this morning lead me to believe you truly have the intelligence of a third grader. Fuck you, and fuck your mother, you cocksucking houseboy. There....everybody gets one.

What a lame response. At least you're consistent with your YouTube performances.

Fyre! Did the devil or God make you post that?

Will he have the option for the job at all still or does he not want anything to do with it? I ask since there's obviously still a proponent on this chat forum to see/hear him shine. I was just if anyone could clear this up for me. Thanks

PS If not JEREMEY, what's going on with ARNEL (whom I'm not too sure about) since nothing official has been stated with the exception of the band picture.

Sincerest apologies for the misspelling, I had no intentions of offending anyone.

"Use him and then shit on him?"

If Neal called Jeremey now and told him that, after thoughtful consideration, they felt he was best for the job, are you saying that he would say "No thanks?"

Would you Jeremey?

and what was the mysterious "deal breaker" that there were concerns about...?
