My Steve Perry Prediction...

Is that Steve Perry will perform in public in 2008 or 2009. The time is right for a comeback. Journey's music is making a huge come back, 80's music is alive and well and gaining respect with younger listeners all the time. All signs point to IF he's going to do it, 2008 or 2009 at the latest is the time slot it's going to happen in.

Wrong!
He and Journey are finally coming out with a Christmas album for the end of this year.

You know you could have been more Nostradamus like in the prediction.

When the midget and the homo are on their knees before him, the buzzard beaked one will take flight again and rule the music world.

Or something like that. 8)

Texafana- I have this feeling that he will do one more thing. I can't say it will be with Journey, but that is where they both make huge $$$$. He was taking voice lessions a yr or so ago. If he wasn't happy he could perhaps have the surgery that Steven Tyler had. He sounds like days of old ! I think it was Nat'l Geographic that showed the surgery.

He has too much pride in the pipes he used to have to try anything new. I actually prefer remembering Steve for what he was rather than listening to him tune down or struggle for notes he used to hit with ease. He's done and that seems just fine with him. He's actually did a Barry Sanders kind of move - went out with a little left in the tank instead of hanging on too long.

Steve Perry will rejoin Journey then be crucified, come down off the cross and save the infidels.

He's happy and retired and near 60 years old. Let it go.

AR- I believe with him it is all perfection, mixed with ego and $$$$. Who knows if he is thinking "one more time". We probably wouldn't be able to get a ticket with the prices of tickets and ebay sales. Scalping by ticket brokers is finally being looked at by Congress. Hanna Montana $3,000.00. Poor 10 yr olds.

steve perry lives on in the fans

It's been over 11 years since he was in Journey and here we are still talking about him. What a legacy.

Fine..How about 1 show with all members, past to present? Record it for DVD/HD DVD, and overplay it on Direct TV HD Music Channel...That would be something..

OMG. Can we just give it a break? It is evident he doesn't want to perform for all the post-menopausal, missing a brain cell or two, old women that were once hip young thangs.
The guy is probably happy giving the new kids a break in the business. I say, let's just buy him lunch and ask him what's happening nowadays.

All signs point to SP doing something soon. Think about it.....In recent time, he's done radio interviews, public appearances at shows & events, actually performed vocally on a recording, (this is more public p&r than he's done in YEARS!!!) in the past has stated he misses performing, wants to write music, etc.

All factors considered, the time is ripe for SP to make a decision. At the least I think we'll get some new recorded material from SP, but I still think a tour of some kind will be announced. ;)

No, someone needs to shoot the "fans". Put them out of their misery. :P
How can someone waste their "golden years" pining for someone who doesn't even know or even CARE that they exist?

Don't bother. This is Little Miss Sensitive who didn't have a problem trolling when Augeri was the singer but when there is criticism of The Hermit, she gets offended.
