Anyone see the "Imagination Trilogy" that's been running for the past 3 weeks? The last episode ended Wednesday and I have to say I thought it was one of the most brilliant and thoughtful satires I've seen in ages. I never fail to be amazed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone's brilliance. The writers for that show put the Harvard guys at SNL and that ilk to shame.

Best line from Santa Claus: "Okay Kyle, that's enough ball sucking for now!"

You are right, the stuff they come up with is multi-level comedy brilliance. It's probably the only show that I would consider buying each season on DVD.

Fantastic show. It's had it's drops in quality here and there over 10 seasons, but by and large, it's been superb.

There are so many levels to the humor (from blatant potty humor to political and social satire) that should appeal to so many people. Unless you're hung up on the fact that it's kids that are engaging in the language that would make a trucker blush and ignore the fact that it's a representation of the honesty of a child with the cynicism of how adults function in the world and creat so much disfunction that's unnecessary.

It's an absolutely fantastic show. I hope they continue with it, as long as they can keep it funny, satirical, and fresh.

It was absolutely the best show they have done. They put so many different hidden jokes in this three parter that I couldn't keep track. Everything from the blatantly obvious, to the very subtle...kahn standing next to kahn, lol. Ripping off scenes from other movies...again obvious (stargate), not so obvious (leviathan). Then you find yourself pausing it on certain scenes to see how many fictiona,l characters you can recognize...cuz they put some very odd ones...(puff'n stuff, the little robot from "the black hole", etc, the 'walking taco' that craps icecream). Then some of the lines were just so 'out there'. Luke Skywalker saying "i agree with Jesus." Or, "quick, imagine a giant Crest gel!"

It was just brilliant they way they wrote and put it together. They need to do another movie...it's been too long since Team America.us
