Valentine - photos from Firefest

Here's a slideshow of photos of Valentine from the pics I took at the UK melodic rock festival Firefest 4 a couple of weeks ago. Valentine, featuring Hugo, were for me the surprise band of the day. I expected them to be good but I was very impressed with their whole set. Hugo sounded great and he had real star quality, and had the audience in raptures.

Great photos as usual Marty. Really wish Hugo would take the solo work out to the clubs here in NYC.

Marty, thanks for sharing your great pics. :)
Gotta say I stared at a few of them - thought I was seeing pics of Steve Perry from the 80s. :o Hugo really does look like him in certain shots.

Mac,

Did you see that you were credited in the liner notes of the new Valentine DVD from Firefest? It's good to see you getting some well deserved credit.

Cheers,

Aaron

also, the live dvd of the full, uncut performance has been recently released. Not exactly cheap though for those living outside of the UK however.

I can't figure out why anybody would choose a career not just trying to sound like a famous singer, but try to look like him and use all his mannerisms, too???????? Too bizarre for me. Get your own look, use your own charisma (if you have any) and mannerisms and stop trying to milk somebody else's fame. That goes for all those Vegas-style Elvis and Cher and Michael Jackson impersonators, too.

So you're the one who left that stupid comment on one of the you tube videos then?

No, you can blame that on somebody else. There are only one or two websites I bother to post comments on, of any kind.
