This is an awesome track.

As good as anything they EVER did. It holds the test of time.

Anyone disagree with that?

Negative Ghost Rider, no disagreement here. Great tune. Some of their earlier fusion stuff was pretty damn good. Nickel and Dime being another I like.

Love it when that happens. I think that's why I appreciate the early stuff, its not being played over and over like DSB, etc.

If nothing else positive comes from them, the J band at least has some variety in their catalog.

I believe "Of a Lifetime" and "Look Into The Future" are the two best songs that Journey ever did.

Moving, emotional, epic... and with kick-ass playing... amazing music!

My favorite pre-Perry era tune is "Topaz".

Of A Lifetime:

Definitely the best track off of the first three releases. Was great that they dusted it off for the 30th anniversary tour in 2005. Haunting to a point, it is a masterpiece.

I like Gregg and Ross doing "In The Morning Day."

They ought to re record some of that early material with Arnel. I wonder what Gregg would say?

Of A Lifetime is definately in my top 10 Journey tracks. I would've been perfectly happy if Journey continued to make jazz-fusiony/prog type albums. (Of course, I can't deny the AOR greatness that Perry brought to the group when he joined...)

I could have continued with Journey in the classic vein, too.

and there is no denying that Perry did make Journey an outstanding AOR group. and that is good if you like AOR. and ROR is the definitive 80's rock. again, if that's your style.

I love it all--I just love classic Journey a little bit more. :D
