I'd go see them if they toured. I'm sure I'd have to buy scalped tickets, but still.

This is the same kind of situation I associate with a reunited Journey tour. Everyone going will know that the lead singer is long in the tooth and can't hit the vocals the way he did when he was in his prime, but that's not the point. Fans want to see it to both experience being in the arena and celebrate their musical heroes. It's a family reunion of sorts, both for the band and for the fans.

Perry of course won't rejoin Journey. He's an immovable object once he's made up his mind and in his mind, he warned Jon not to crack the stone. That there would be no going back. That's it for him, he's done. Such a shame.

I hope Zeppelin tours, but I think that ball is in Robert Plant's court, not Jimmy's.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am one of the lucky ones who have a ticket for the 10 of December and the anticipation of this has kept me going for months! One of Tommy's old buds is working the show and is getting me in. He wanted to do something special for me after Tommy's death. HOW FUCKING LUCKY AM I!?! My top favorite bands are in this order:

Led Zeppelin
Rush
Journey
The Babys
The Raspberries

November and December are good months for me three Raspberries shows and the Led Zep show! Happy holidays Gail!!!!!!

Tour? Zep? Sounds like it's time for that break in to Fort Knox!!!!!!

I would only consider attending if they got John Paul Jones (my personal favorite Zeppelin member) and Jason Bonham on drums.

I think the entire population of the UK is only about 60 million. Unless people were trying from overseas.

From my understanding, it's Plant, Page, Jones, and Jason Bonham. Haven't heard that anything's changed.

Your right! And in the rehersals Bonham kicks maxium ass just like his dad Bonzo Sr. did! And Plant can STILL carry a tune dude did the wail on "Whole Lotta Love' and brought me to my knees! After over 120 Led Zep shows not counting shows after the bands breakup believe me I KNOW! The fighting days are over! I believe there will be a tour one of the reasons I do believe it's so that in this day and age of tape everything! This show will not be or broadcast either! A. E. would be dissapointed, unless he knew that further plans were afoot. My thought is with the success of Genesis and The Police alot of bands are going. Hummmmm......

Led Zeppelin: Genie's Out Of The Bottle

By Matt Smith
Entertainment correspondent
Updated:08:45, Thursday November 15, 2007

Led Zeppelin have given a clear hint that they are thinking about staging a full-scale tour after their reunion gig next month.

Speaking to Guitar World magazine in the States, guitarist Jimmy Page suggested the one-off show may lead to something bigger.

"It's a bit silly not to because there is such massive demand," he said.

Until now, the band had said they were only planning to do the one show at the O2 Dome, in honour of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.

But following what Page described as the "overwhelming" reaction to the show, clearly they are re-thinking things. It's estimated up to 20 million people applied for just 18,000 tickets.

"It's a bit selfish to do just one show. If that's it, we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle," he said.

The show has been delayed while Page rests a broken finger on his left hand. He got the injury when he tripped over a paving slab in the dark.

"The light was very dim and I tripped over something and I landed on various bits of my anatomy but of course the crucial part was left hand, little finger," Page has previously told Sky News.

The rescheduled gig at the O2 Arena will now take place on December 10.

If i only see one show in 08 ... I am there!!! I was going to see them in MSP back in 1980 before the tour had to be cancelled because of Bonham dying... :( I have been waiting ever since..

lead singer Robert Plant has been quoted as saying "there'll be one show and that's it", whereas guitarist Jimmy Page insisted: "It's a bit selfish to do just one show. If that's it, we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle."

How much would you expect to pay for a ticket?

I'm thinking $249 for a decent floor seat.
