I'll have to vote for the Democrat.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I'll vote for the Democrat, too. I'm not sure, though, that Rudy's got the Rep nomination sewed up.

I'm partial to either the Limbaugh-Buchanan or Dukakis-Mondale tickets.

Rudy won't get it.

Romney is their best choice, but it aint gonna matter. Hillary will mow those choads.

Rudy invokes 9/11 every sentence between changing pantyose and bras, and Thompson is a retard.

NOBODY except Huckabee, who I would actually vote for 4 President, is worth a fuck on the GOP side. Hill and Obama will annihilate any sorry assed republican. May their party rot in Hell.

PS- How is Rush Limbaugh NOT in Jail? He only did illegal drugs for 3 years.

Ric Flair endorsed huckabee. If I go GOP, that would be enough for me.

Gore is crazy for not running. He'd win. Something in the big money is telling him not to.

If those are the only choices of course it's Hilary for me. I'd actually prefer Al Gore as the Democratic candidate because he wouldn't have to fight the anti-Clinton or a woman belongs in the kitchen ignorance.

If Lou Dobbs or Ron Paul were to be in there as an Independant candidate though, I'd have to think very hard about who would get my vote. I don't like Paul's anti-abortion stand, but there are a lot of things he's saying that I do like. I like everything that I've read about Lou Dobbs.

I wouldn't vote for Gore for President, ever. He is wacked, even though he is right on the money with Global Warming.

Hillary is an Bitch and we need that. She is a very very smart bitch with a cool husband.

As long as Bush is gone, It doesn't matter to me bro.

He really messed up with foreign policy. Not really talking about Iraq so much, but he alienated many allies.

I agree with you completely about Hilary, but I think Gore has more overall electability in the swing vote.

Alienated? Hell, he did so much much to cripple our standing in the world, it will be decades before we recover.

Remember, America's strength is it's allies. That speaks volumes about the USA.

Sadly, no one likes us any more, not even Canada. In fact, they hate our ass too.

PS- I want to fuck you in the butt, Ed (AR).

Gore would have been a home run in this election. I'm not so sure a woman president named Hillary is possible. Could be wrong. Also, I do not think the American public wants all 3 bodies to be controlled by 1 party. Personally it shouldn't matter though. It won't make a difference.

Just my take. No offense to either side. I flip flop either way constantly.

You're right about Gore. He would have been a home run, slam dunk, and touchdown this time because so many people are still so bitter about the way Bush and his brother stole the 2000 election.

You should be right about people not wanting all three bodies controlled by one party, but sadly, with the control the two party system has on our government and electoral process, most voters do. Most of that small percentage of people who vote now are those who are committed to one party.

Right now I'm committed to the Democrats simply because we've had such a hard and destructive swing to the right that we need a hard swing to the left to have any chance at all of achieving a balance. We also, realistically, have no choice other than one of the big two right now.

Sherrie in one sense, I think the parties are not so far off that it matters. On the other hand, here in Maryland one party has basically controlled this state forever and it is so corrupt and messed up that I really don't know what to think. I am neither Dem or Repub (Independent), but the Dem's in Maryland are going to wind up causing the state to loose the Preakness race. Long story.

Oh well.

Really, I wish a 3rd party candidate could win. Big money won't allow that to happen though. My position is liberal on social issues such as what happens in the bedroom but super conservative economically. No one represents what I think in the U.S.

Let me fuck who I want, and keep taxes low. People on welfare still have all the cable channels and Xbox's. Total b.s.

Health care needs to be improved, but how? I do not feel anyone has a "right" to it. Nationalizing it IMO drops the quality.

Big money corporations and lobbyests (*sp) have too much control. BOTH sides are guilty. PERIOD.

I fucking hate politicians!

Just get Bush out Granny. He's the problem. It ain't Dem or Repub. Really they both suck. Give either party full control and there are problems. They aren't that different though. I like gridlock. Keep the 2 parties from doing anything they want and we are better off. The Republicans had too much power recently and that was fucked up. Swing to the other party and it's just as fucked up. Give them both even amounts and keep things quiet.

No doubt. I just wish that wasn't the case.

Asking a nation of millions of people to choose between "left" or "right" insults my intelligence.

The best and the brightest minds in this country do not run for office because you have to kiss ass to get elected. All politicians are phonies.

I respect your reasons for feeling the way you do Ed. In this state the Reps have been what the Dems have in your state. I actually was never for one party or the other either until Bush. I'll still vote for the candidate that I think is best. Right now though I'm Dem for lack of a viable alternative.

We just need to get the GOP out of the Whitehouse, let the Dems fix their mess yet again, and get this country headed back down the right track. (ducking)

Me too Sherrie. The Repubs have had control long enough. Try it another way for awhile.

Sadly, I don't think it will make much of a difference. Time will tell, but I'm with ya.

I just prefer the House/Senate and Presidency to be split and keep anyone from doing anything. Gridlock rules.
