Melissa and I just took that exact cruise in October. Leaving out of Miami isn't so bad. I'd leave out of any port if it would get me to Italy next month  8)

My son got married recently and now resides in Italy. I plan on visiting he and his wife sometime in '08. He's living 45 minutes outside of Venice. Right now he's vacationing in Ciaro, Egypt...hope he'll send pics soon from there. He did send me a few he took in Venice a couple weeks ago....I'll go try to upload some...a little preview for your trip.

Heck, I don't care where it leaves from.......as long as it gets to Italy in time to catch a few December Talisman and Eric Martin shows. :D :P

Now wouldn't that be cool! 8)

I try to avoid Miami at all costs. But the arm twisting would be very minimal to get me to Italy. ;) I'm curious, your our tour guide.. how pricey is it?

Know why Italians wear gold chains?

Answer: To remind them where to stop shaving

TVL, beautiful pics. My God, what an amazing place. The one with the ship beached intrigued me. How the Hell did it get so close to the shore, and how do you get passengers off and onto land? I am thinking small craft boats.

Thanks! The other pic didn't show it but, here is another shot that will answer your question....long docks. :) although they do use small boats in some ports.

How can you live in Florida and never cruise!!!! It's so cheap since we don't have the airfare. Especially if you just do a little 3 or 4 day out of Port Canaveral. Your daughter would enjoy it too!

How very thoughtful and kind of you to think of me TVL.
Those are beautiful pictures, I enjoyed seeing them muchly.
Thank you!.....I so can see my backside strolling down the shore
in this one beach pic.
Glad you enjoyed yourself, which was your fave port?

Your welcome, Moon. Glad I could "take ya to the beach" for a moment. :D ..I guess my fave would be Grand Turk....that island in particular doesn't really have much, but I'm into scuba diving so that was the highlight for me....some great dive sites around some of the other island's there. 8)
