Quick "DSB" lyrics question

PostPosted: Mon Dec 03, 2007 9:13 am

I need some quick info, as I have conflicting lyrics out there -- does it go, "Streetlight people", or "Streetlights... people"?

Also, is it "A smell of wine..." or "The smell of wine".

Thanks in advance!

HAHAHAHAHAHA... (all of ya's!) :P

I was at lunch today in a Thai/Vietnamese place, and my fortune cookie actually said, "An interesting musical opportunity is in your near future." Very coincidental, as I'm about to head to a friend's studio for a little while. He'll get a kick out of that.

Ahhh...... So it's nothing more than an opportunity for me to sit on my butt at my keyboard another few days and have something new to talk about! :P

I know my wife would like me to do something else, like help her with the housework... She's having about 20 people over tomorrow. :P Actually, I'm pretty proud of myself today. I have gotten about 50% of what I set out to accomplish done, so I've only halfway failed. :P

I'm a night-owl, unfortunately, and an expert procrastinator/crammer. I excel at doing things last minute, and doing them well! :P

Here's my agenda for the rest of the evening -- about to leave for my friend's studio in a few minutes for what should be a fun project, then will clean and finish working out when I get home. At the same time, I'll be listening to "Dream After Dream" and working on an update for my website (totally unrelated subject). If I get that done, I will have actually done everything I set out to do today.

Guitar, bass, and mainly vocals, but I wouldn't call myself much of a musician. I should be much, much better for as long as I've played. I mainly concentrate on singing now, and I'm about to post my little studio experiment. It turned out kinda ok! :P

The website is dedicated to another interest entirely -- nothing to do with music. It's been a lot of fun, gotten a lot of attention, but as it's linked w/my secret identity, I don't want people connecting that guy with Rip Rokken. Before anyone asks, no, it's not an adult site, nor anything shady. :P

Cool, can't wait to hear it.

When I started posting here, I used the screen name "Shoot 'em up". It was from my online gaming days, as I used to play a lot of Half-Life, still do some. People would ask where the hell my screen name came from, and wanted to know what I was shooting up. I was embarrassed to tell them it was from playing a computer game.
