Again, from the same source I received the info about the new CD when it was believed to be only re-recordings-The new CD with all new stuff will be out in February 2008, yes, February. Regardless of the Summer,2008 date on the front page this is what I am told and I believe it. Also-there will NOT be a GH rerecording released. Now, back to your regulary scheduled program....

OK Deano, yesterday the news was a release of rerecordings and that was coming from Andrew. It upset me and I checked with a friend. The news they gave me about a new CD with all new material was reported by me FIRST on here. Later, Andrew confirmed. So yes, if you check I have been correct and the only one who appears to be full of shit is those who think a rerecording of the GH's is coming, because its not. Go back and check my post from yesterday, several on here saw it.

whether they have the balls to release it is another question,.. if there's a dime to be made, i'd bet yes.

i'm appalled, but the general public aren't as emotionally attached to SP, so the jury's out if it will make more than said dime...

Personally I think the re-recorded classics will see the light of day in some form or other. At this point and with the Perry deal ending it seems to make some financial sense for the band going forward and opens up licensing possibilities whilst providing a cohesive front.

The news they gave me about a new CD with all new material was reported by me FIRST on here. Later, Andrew confirmed.
