I don't know if anyone caught this one on you tube yet,but its the 2nd comparison with Soto in it.. Deen and Soto don't get a real chance here because the quality is lacking.. Arnel sounds pretty damn good.. Sorry if this is posted already..

Agreed. The quality on Deen's and Jeff's is terrible. They don't really get a fair shake. Perry's is perfect and Arnel's is very good. The other two aren't of good enough quality to judge.

Perry's was ok,Arnel's was alot better.. Don't know why..Just bad clips I guess,but you can't tell by that..But you can tell that Arnel has that smoothness or whatever Perry has..You can't learn that..Given time if he learns to control it,he could be damn good.. No one is going to be awesome out of the gate,alot of people on here even said it took Jeff a while to jell with those guys..But we know they are making a new album,I'm very interested and excited to see what happens..It will not suck..Just don't expect the 2nd coming of Perry and you will be fine..

Anyway, Arnel certainly sounds more like Perry and has the mannerisms. Jeff had the mannerisms but a different sound.

You misunderstood.. I said the quality of the playback was better..Not the voice.. BTW the quite of Deano is freaking priceless.. I still think most people on this board won't give Arnel a shot because he's not an American.. JMO.. Otherwise ,why would they be done.. Like you said,they are stupid.. So much for sticking in there when times are tough..

That being said, though, I still wish Jeff was in the band. I was really looking forward to hearing some kick ass new material. I think he would've kept a little harder edge with the new stuff but we'll see what it sounds like with Arnel.

I'm a JSS fan also..The guy is incredible..Unless I was in the same room with them when the decision came down or there is footage of what really when down.. I'm still a Journey fan! And a Soto fan!
