They played "Don't Stop Believin'" during NFL Sunday Countdown on ESPN, earlier today, and Chris Berman even said "A little Journey for you"! On another note...Is it 4 o'clock yet??? I need this Steelers/Patriots game to start!

There sure are lots of eyes on the Patriots, with everyone just hoping that someone beats them. I think the pressure is mounting and that they are going to lose one, before it's over. I just hope that their loss occurs in the regular season. I honestly could care less about going undefeated. It's all about hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. The only reason I would enjoy the whole undefeated thing a bit, is because of how much most of the country despises the Patriots. There is some twisted pleasure in flipping the entire country off

I agree with you there. The Patriots have the 49'ers first round draft pick, so they can't lose enough, for me!

Yeah...hell of a way for the fucking officials to GIVE the game to Sthe CHARGERS! That bullshit call late in the 4th that would've ended the game was fucking BULLSHIT!!!

DAMN I'm pissed!!!!!

Are you kidding me???? How the hell can you say the officials gave the Chargers the game???? Listen, I have no rooting interest in either team, but, I watched the play you're referring to. They showed 20 replays of the catch (or apparently in your opinion, the non-catch) to Chambers. There was not one single camera angle that conclusively showed whether it was a catch or a non-catch. In that instance, the play on the field has to remain, as called, and that's what happened! If you're talking about the catch for the TD to Gates to tie the game, that was VERY clearly a catch! The more important point that you're completely neglecting to mention is that San Diego only tied the game on that play! Tennessee had a chance to win the game in overtime, and simply couldn't get the job done. They lost the game for one reason and one reason only...Nobody on Tennessee felt like tackling Tomlinson on the way into the end zone!

Be pissed at the Titans then for not doing something to win the game. The play in question had to remain as called on the field. The replay was not conclusive enough to overturn the call since you could not tell whether or not the receiver's had was between the ball and the field. I am not a fan of either team, by the way.

I disagree. I think the close up CBS showed clearly established that Chambers trapped that ball. I simply believe a) the official on the field blew the call and b) the replay officials didn't want to basically end the game on an overturned replay call. (It was 4th down, and that was the game.) I also offer as proof the way San Diego hurried to the line of scrimmage to try like hell to get the play off before it was reviewed. I think they knew they got away with one...In truth, I'm just as mad at the Titans for some of the worst play calling I've EVER seen in that overtime. Conservative as hell and drearily predictable!
So yeah, I'm a TENNESSEE fan and perhaps my judgement is clouded a bit in this (as this probably killed their chances for the playoffs) but it just seems that overall there has been some SHITTY officiating this year.

You need to take off your Tennessee-colored glasses and be a bit more honest with yourself. Not only did the CBS replay NOT "clearly" show that Chambers trapped the ball, it clearly showed just the opposite. In fact, the only thing that was visible from ANY angle was that when Chambers rolled over, the ball was coming out of his hands. That said, the ball NEVER touched the ground, as it was coming out of his hands, and more importantly, there wasn't a single replay angle that showed the ball on the ground. I'm pretty sure that you and I are listening to the same play by play announcers do the game, and the announcers agreed 100% with the call, as they saw the same replays that everyone else saw! While I have always appreciated passionate sports fans, NOTHING is more undignified than a bunch of whiny, bitching babies about how their team was robbed by the officials! Even the ESPN "Sports Reporters" told the Baltimore Ravens and their fans to stop their whining over the game Monday night. Listen, if the Patriots lose to the Steelers today, I'll simply take my lumps and move on, even if the officials do blow a call! Officials definitely aren't perfect, but if you're going to call them out, you should at least call them out on a call they blew, and not one they got right!

I forgot to mention how much fun it was watching the Patriots punch the Steelers right in their mouths! So much for that moron Anthony Smith's "guarantee"! At least the Ravens and Eagles gave us a game and made it competitive! That game was actually boring to watch! Any predictions on the spread for the Jets game next week? My early prediction is 25 points, which would be an all-time NFL record!

i cant explain how we pulled it off this time.. but we held 2x. or pass interference's , that were not called on us.. one was unbelievably obvious that the officails did not call on dallas.. the dallas defense is not as good as everyone says..

Perhaps you have a point on the call. As for the "announcers call", I had the sound down for most of the game, as my 2 year old was napping.(Such is fatherhood) It looked to me like a trapping issue. Obviously I was wrong.. I, much like these officials you champion, am only human. Perhaps you should consider giving me the same repect? I am neither bitchy, nor "baby-ish". I merely have great passion for my hometown team. Does that mean I occasionly have blinders on? Sure. I all but admited as much in my last post (that's the part where I said "my judgement is clouded" in case you were wondering.) I was just pissed about the outcome of a game and merely wanted an outlet to vent, which it seems this forum was sort of...I dunno...designed for?

In other news...your Pats certainly did put a whoppin on those Steelers...who says it doesn't pay to cheat in the NFL????

BTW- That last part was me fucking with you.... :)

Hey...It's all in good fun, my man! Sorry if my words about bitching and whining sound harsh, but as a Patriots fan, it's all I've heard ALL season, from EVERY team we've played! As I've mentioned here in the past, I've lived through my hometown team (The Patriots) going 1-15 and 2-14, more times than I care to admit to, so I certainly understand where you're coming from! As I said, there is NEVER anything wrong in my world, with any fans who are passionate about their hometown teams. In fact, as much as I DESPISE ALL NY sports teams, I respect NY sports fans, because they're a passionate bunch.

On another note...The Steelers didn't really scare me, as they've lost to Arizona, the Jets, and Denver...three teams who are already making their tee times, for the playoffs! I think Pittsburgh is an okay team, who plays physical, but as soon as I heard that dope Smith "guarantee" the win, I knew any shot Pittsburgh had went out the window, with that guy's moronic comments! These guys should at least be smart enough to keep their pie holes shut, until after they play the Patriots!

No sweat...and I kinda figured (and was hoping) your boys would manhandle the Steelers too. Who the hell was this guy making the guarentee anyhow? I bet his team ain't to happy with his ass right about now...

Dear Fucking God our defense SUCKED today. We pulled it off in the last minute...but we weren't even pressuring Kitna let alone getting interceptions. I'd say that this and the Bills game are going head to head for the worst game we've played this year. A LUCKY 12-1.

The Steelers blew. I thought they'd have the best chance to beat the Pats....but no...they had to come in with their SHIT game.

Maybe the only saving grace this week will be the Ravens beating Indy. 14:+ in the 1st right now (I'm running in and out...can't see the time as I'm typing).

Oh yea....MIAMI STILL BLOWS.
