Granted I know the sound was a tad off, but overall this represents a typical sound for our tribute band. No vocals, just a jam from Who's Cryin. Interested in your honest comments, thanks. (What have I set myself up for?)

OUT-FUCKING-STANDING. Loved it, dude. 8) I thought the guitar, along with the rest of the instruments, were pretty spot on. The guitar was perfect. Nice drum fills, too. Excellent.

That's because JDrums is Deen and the rest of the band are Schon, Cain and Valory. Seriously it's that good.

Do you have any other recordings, or any of your singer?

Dude, there are plenty! I would start with Arrival and then try Red13 and Generations. The Arrival 2001 Live DVD is pretty good also and will help you put a face to the username.

That sounds GREAT!! What kind of gear are you using? (drums, cyms, heads....et al.) You sound like your playing is relaxed....VERY nice!!!

Except for the minor performance differences here and there, I would have actually thought it was the CD playing, it sounded so good.

Thanks for the nice comments! (so far!) :P One thing our band does is try to keep a keen eye on the live versions of the songs instead of emulating the cd versions. We like the dynamic, improvised nature of the classic Journey jams. Drum wise I like the power of Dean's playing while still trying to keep some finesse of the master...Smitty. ;)

notme: Drum wise I'm using Tama Starclassic Drums with Paragon Cymbals. The Paragons have a nice bright sound that cuts through the mix nicely.

Thanks for the comments Mr.Rokken, very much appreciated! ;)
